NASCAR 'Battle at the Beach' short-track races returning to Daytona in 2014

I thiink veryone with the exception of Mike Stefanik is happy that the Battle @ The Beach is back on.

 
So the schedule is:
Sunday Feb 16 K&N Pro Series East Points Race at New Smyrna
Tuesday Feb 18 K&N Pro Series East Point Race and Whelen Modifieds Non Point race at Daytona.

So they got rid of the late models. And I guess it's just a regular points race, so Winners from K&N East/West and Champions from K&N, Canadian Tire, Mexico, Euro aren't invited i'd imagine.

It works for me. I'll probably be going to this, and on Monday I can check out dirt late models at Volusia instead of the crappy Whelen All American local late models.
I really want to like late models (on pavement), but pretty much every one i've been to was a complete wreckfest (unless it was just a follow the leader race with nothing interesting in it at all).
