Hello all! I just saw the Chase for the Cup merchandise at NASCAR store website, the t-shirts and hats look awesome, given that it is barely starting, what are the chances of finding it a better prices come Homestead race weekend? (at least those out of the Chase should be cheaper, no?) When are prices reduced or priced to sell? Right after the race? Or do I have to wait for liquidation sale in later days or weeks?

Yeah, I guess...Even though I have a few favorite drivers, I wanna buy from someone that it is still in the Chase come Homestead... Can't imagine how it would look wearing Chase for the Cup apparel from a driver long out of it...

I bet they will go down if your driver gets eliminated.

I want to buy Chase's hat since it's his first chase in his first season, but I'm one of those that hates celebrating minor victories. I never buy conference championship stuff for other sports, I find it tacky. I hold off for the real deal championship merch.

Yeah, I agree... I hope one of mine wins the cup...or at least makes it to Homestead...

Had to check out the store and wow the prices are not cheap. $25 for a t-shirt and $50 for something with a collar. I don't know why I'm shocked because it is the same with other sports but wow. I don't really own any sports t-shirts anymore. I remember growing up I had a lot of sports t-shirts and they seemed to be affordable back then, now it seems like anything with a pro sports logo on it increases the price by 30 bucks.
Maybe I'll have better luck at the track?

Yeah, the ones I looked at are $22 for a tshirt and $32 the hats...quite expensive considering that it is just a piece of cloth with some designs, I mean, what we are paying really is the trademarks/logos printed, the shirt costs cents, so the cap, printing those logos and stuff, there's the real price (and their income)... luckily is once in a while...

Track prices are the same because they are just Fanatics tents now, Fanatics/Superstore is the same thing

I remember, the day after the Coke Zero 400, I saw the same hat my kid wanted with $10 less, right at the track store... 2 weeks later the race leftover shirts and hats were heavily discounted, $5 each...

They did have a discount bin when I was at Michigan a couple weeks ago. But they looked to outdated things...like Chase Elliot's number 9 Xfinity stuff and Kevin Harvick pre-Busch stuff. If that doesn't bother you, you might be able to find a deal (I hate digging through those bins though.)

Best deals I ever got were right after a sponsor announced they were leaving . You could go down to that driver's hauler and get anything 75% off . Another great deal I recall . I was chatting with a guy in the mall , he had on a $300.00 Rusty Wallace leather Miller jacket . I said . "Big Rusty fan , are you ?" ..No ! He says . Salvation Army sale ...Some guy left his wife and she donated everything he owned .
