The new NBC theme is just awesome.



Loved the theme NBC used for the Daytona 500 as well.

I don't have much feeling about intro music either way, but no sport needs an intro theme song sung by someone with no apparent connection to the sport and decorated with a lot of cheesy driver / player staged 'candid' poses.

So, yeah, with corn and peas in it.

I was watching the 2004 Ford 400 a while back and I swear I heard the same piece, so they may have used it here and there throughout 2004. I'd kill for a copy too.
 
TNN had some good ones, but the CBS sports one like posted above with the Daytona 500 are my favorites.

NBC loves these. Carrie Underwood is hot Hot HOT but that song they play before the Sunday Night Football games is atrocious.

I'm really glad Fox went back to the 2001 NASCAR theme last year. I was never a huge fan of Fox's NFL theme to begin with, but it was completely out of place on NASCAR broadcasts.
 
Be There! I don't remember the singer of the song but I do remember he had a Facebook post with it on.
