NASCAR Nationwide Series at Iowa

He actually is. I've met him on a few occasions. My old roommate was a childhood friend of Charlie's.
He's out there, though. He has no rules.

The guy makes money no matter what he does. I still laugh about him turning his house arrest into a Fiat commercial. lol

Hate a Keselowski N'wide win. This race has no relevance for any cup driver at this moment. Fkn stupid.

McDowell deserves to be full time.

Brad runs for the manufacturer championship. NASCAR missed that one with earning points in 1 series rule.

I knew him when he lived in a condo in Malibu. We rented a place on the next street over, Winter Canyon Rd., and I worked at the local celebrity-owned bar.
My friend Erik and Charlie were childhood friends. I'd been to some of the parties but it was way over my head.

The second NASCAR bans full time Sprint Cup drivers from racing in N'Wide will be the day I start watching.

Until then, it will be more keeping tabs on it from the web.

Cut him some slack, he was saving the world.

Brad Keselowski @keselowski
So 30-50 people can keep their job's. @numbah10hatah: Why @keselowski? Why must you run a standalone @NASCAR_NNS race?

It's hilarious, because he probably thinks it's true.

As if Roger Penske would shut down his 1 NNS team because Brad K wasn't driving it. Especially since Roger has a developmental driver like Ryan Blaney under contract.

Garbage, more like Roger is just appeasing the sponsors, not that there is a problem with that in it of itself, and Brad K is a racer who obviously likes winning so he goes down a level and beats up on the sub par field.

Hasn't the Great K'owski been running Penske since he told the boss to hire Logano?

Right. Because if Blaney or anyone else filling that seat would X out all those jobs.

"This just in. Ryan Blaney will be changing his own tires & manning his own gas can because his pit crew is MIA due to the fact that Keselowski is absent from today's nationwide race".

I like Kes as a driver but he needs to learn to shut his mouth sometimes. You can have personality without sounding like a complete maroon.

What's a maroon???

Brad probably meant that the sponsors want him in the car and if he wasn't driving it there would be no funding and they would have to shut the team down.

that makes too much sense..it will never satisfy the whiners, this has to go on ad nausea. They think you just put who ever behind the wheel..simpletons.

SOI your avatar upsets me.
sorry about that, summer here out in the country, been battling bugs and a few assorted rodents that don't want to live where they belong. I feel like that guy looks. I'm winning...I think?

Blaney has been sponsored in every Nationwide race he's been in. Penske himself could even fund the car out of pocket for one race. Numerous teams like JGR, JRM, and RCR didn't have to shut down because they didn't bring a Cup driver to Iowa. I think it just boils down to Penske realizing it was an easy opportunity to win and close the gap to the #54 in the owners' championship.

Yeah the Fords cleaned up, won the race and the 100 thousand bucks. Good night for the Fords.

Nah, they just ran three cars, many with recent X cup drivers in them. BTW hate to interrupt all the crying, The points racing in Nationwide is really tight. Gibbs with always 3 cars in the field is leading Penske, usually running only two and this week only one to three of the Gibbs. Gibbs is only one point ahead. Points lead for the full timers has Elliott a head by only 2 points over Smith.

 They managed to put Ryan Blaney in the 22 for 15 races with full sponsorship, and Alex tagliani twice. Every other team in the field ran young guns, with or without sponsorship. Penske does this every year to try to gain an advantage in the owners title
