I clicked into this thinking the stars of NASCAR were going to do some ice skating for charity or something during the off season lol

Interesting concept. If NASCAR ever considered an idea like that for it’s top series in the USA, it would give many areas of the country multiple chances to be considered for a date in the calendar year

Fantastic, IMO. Nobody who isn't a total racing or American car enthusiast knows that the Euro Series exists and this event should get the Euro Series at least some attention. There is nothing to lose.
That said, Hockenheim in April is way too cold and it sucks that the short track at Venray is not on the schedule.

Maybe the Cup Series should add Alaska to their schedule and run it on the weekend after the Daytona 500.

They're under contract to run at Venray but for whatever reason stopped going there...

Yeah just watched the video of the 2019 race. Venray looks like a nice facility, would be cool if iRacing added it.

The problem being that other then the track @donthaveanickname mentioned there arent many NASCAR quality ovals in Europe. You either have glorified demolition derby banger racing tracks which are like local tracks here. Or a couple big ovals that haven't seen any action in over 20 years like EuroSpeedway Lausitz.

Someone in Wisconsin has bought some old Cup cars to make it happen.
Starr, Bilicki, Reaume and JenJo Cobb are amongst the drivers participating.

Interesting 'Like' behavior.

I also saw the 'Confirm' prompt when I tried 'Liking' posts #24 and #25. I went back to the first post and was able to 'Like' it without the confirmation. Then I went back and was able to 'Like' #24 and #25 without confirmation. When I reloaded the page, the confirmation prompts started again.

Also, if you edit your post, it opens in a separate 'Edit post' window instead of editing directly in the discussion.

See, this is why NASCAR on ice is a bad idea.
