he saved spots for the returning folks though so that was 3 OTHER spots I think....

Oh, I was saving spots for ztevans and The Long Shot since they played last year. The three spots were not counting the ones saved for them.

No, nothing like that. Just since there is a limited number of players and I suspected the spots might go quickly and I was posting the thread during the day and they may be at work or whatever I had four spots earmarked for the folks who played last year. If they hadn't said anything or signed up within a day or two I would have opened them up to everybody.

That's as far as their "advantage" goes. It was more of a courtesy to the folks who came out last year than anything.

This is getting hairy....no one wants throw a pick away on a driver who does not make the show, but you cant waste a Jeff Gordon on this kind of track either.

Not that it probably makes a bit of difference but I'm holding out making my pick until I can see some results of tomorrows practice.
 
@KevinWI , quick question. Is the initial driver pick that we PM you our final, locked in pick? Or..... Can we send in a different pick as long as we get it in before the deadline?
 
Hope you get your 25.....my concern would be that without knowing how they qualified would unfairly handicap this. Pretty much anyone who handicaps a race, does so after qualifying. Just saying. Like the idea though.

It's a full game with 25 entered. It's the same rules for everyone in the game so as far as I'm concerned It's fair.

I heard from this one forum member that he heard from this other forum member's sister that her brother said the deadline to make picks has been extended by a day. I think you all can wait an extra day to make you picks. I'm just sayin'. :D
