Michigan is such a tight race to pick for. Mechanical problems are a plague. I picked Chase and got a 2nd last race there. I'm hoping the majority is screwed, lol. No offense meant.
 
I had a dream last night that after announcing the opening of the game prior to next year's Daytona 500, over 100 players joined up. :eek:

Needless to say, I wasted no time in changing the rules so that just one missed pick would cause elimination from the game. ;)

Not sure just where to begin when trying to recognize the continued accomplishments of the game's leader, @Michfan.

How 'bout . . .

1) Picked the race winner (Kyle Larson) at the second Michigan race to become the game's first player to pick three race winners this season.

2) Has held first place in the standings for twelve consecutive weeks.

3) Increased his lead over second place in the standings to a season high 81 points.

4) Increased his lead over everyone else in the standings except the two other players (@aunty dive and @Simple Fan) who also picked race winner Kyle Larson.

5) At the pace he's going, will soon be farting through only the highest quality underwear available.

Meanwhile, for what it's worth, an upward mover of note is @Ashstrodamus, who has moved up eleven positions in the standings (from 21st to 10th place) over the last nine races, although he's gained only 12 points on the leader during that span.

Also, @aunty dive was finally able to halt his downward slide (from 6th to 14th place) with his pick of race winner Larson, thereby moving up three spots to 11th place.

Highst finish the last two weeks, to bad I squandered all my too driver picks earlier in the year.

The race is for 2nd and it is tightening up.


I just realized I'm 101 points behind the leader yet in 6th Lmfaooo

You've done very well. I'm not so much on the idea that you have to pick crap drivers early. I just did it as an experiment. If not for missed races last year, I feel like I would've won. I finished 3rd anyway.

I doubt it. 5th is my goal. You've set the standard. Hey, it's not over though. I've still got to use some low-level teams coming up. Michigan won't allow you to do that.
 
Ty Dillion is running way better in that 13 car than should be. I like him almost anywhere.

Great job this year I'm going to be the first to congratulate you. I don't think could even jinx you at this point ;)
 
Really thought I'd have a good shot for the Championship if Logano did well today as I was going to break the glass on the rest of my B drivers into My A drivers. Aw well doing well for my first time doing this and will try to hang onto a podium finish.
