Well, the game started out with 25 players and now, following the removal from the game of both @RacerrecaR and @francibastiglia for failing to make a pick for the fourth time, we're down to 21.

Sorry to see those guys go but the good news, for @Fordracing7 anyway, is that he's guaranteed to move up to at least 21st place, which is the highest he's been in the standings since the Las Vegas race (week 3).

Congrats to @Fordracing7, as he has indeed cracked the Top 20 in the standings for the first time since the second race of the season following the 7th place finish of his pick, Daniel Suarez.

Congrats also to @LewTheShoe whose pick of 8th place finisher Erik Jones enabled him to jump three spots, thereby cracking the Top 10 in the standings for the first time in almost two months.

Additional congrats to @2 Sweet, who had the best pick of the week, this week's winner of the "First Loser" award, second place finisher Kevin Harvick.

Biggest upward mover lately has been @DUN24, who has moved nine spots (from 15th place to 6th) in a span of five weeks (since the Saturday night race at Daytona). Unfortunately, during that time he's gained only two points on the leader in the standings, none other than ol' what's his name.

The flip side of that movement has been @aunty dive, who has dropped six spots (from 6th to 12th) in the past six weeks.

Last but not least, congrats once again to @Michfan who has now held onto first place in the standings for ten consecutive weeks after enjoying a nice recovery from last week's debacle, thanks to a 13th place finish by his pick, Kurt Busch.

If in the past five weeks @Michfan has gazed into his rear view mirror, he's gotta love what he's seen as several players have engaged in a hard fought battle for second place in the standings, thereby enabling @Michfan to slowly . . . pull . . . . . . . away.

Beginning to wonder if anyone has got anything for this guy or has the standings battle been reduced to a pursuit for a podium spot . . .

Love the summaries. It's like we are part of that official unofficial NASCAR driver basketball league.

Anyways, I'd be happy with a top 5 at the end of the year. Pretty sure I'm running out of picks anyways, so is ole what's his name though so who knows? Lol
