So it's two weeks until the 500 and we've yet to see a post from @KevinWI about this year's pick 'em game.

I sent him a message a while back to let him know that I wouldn't have a problem running the game if he wasn't up for it but I've yet to hear back from him. (He hasn't been on the board since just before Christmas.)

If any of youse guys have a way of getting in touch with him, feel free to give him a shout-out about what his intentions are.

I figure I'll give him a week to get the ball rolling, otherwise I'll relinquish my slim to none chances of winning the damn thing this year and take over running it.
 
Kevin hasn't been on the board since Nov 20 which I'm sure you know.

I can't imagine him being upset if you start rolling the ball.
 
He definitely only stuck around the site for this game toward the end of last year. He'd probably be happy with someone taking over.

Pretty much, but the catch is you can only pick any driver 1 time all year. So, if you pick Matt Kenseth for the Daytona 500, you would not be able to pick him for the rest of the year. At least that's how the rules have been since I can remember...things might change this year.

Not saying I want it to happen or think it will happen, but if somebody new like pjmolo takes over the game...they (should) have free reign to adjust the rules.

I'm contemplating only a few minor tweeks to the game, nothing major.

I'll post the official game opening soon along with the rules, which will be pretty much what @KevinWI posted for the 2015 game.

(The opening posts to the 2016 game were lost when the site crashed last year.)
 
Best game on the board. Looking forward to a better season this year.

Hopefully Nostradamus will return to delight us with his trumpet.
