Although @Elliott_Fan_9 still has a mathematical chance of snatching the championship away from @Clutch, it looks like the real battle is among those of us fighting for a spot on the podium.

@Elliott_Fan_9 has already confirmed that he'll use Chase, I figure @Fordracing7 to use Kevin Harvick and @DC76 to use Kyle Larson. I'm going with Truex Jr. while @Michfan and @AdoubleU24, like @Clutch, will need to dip into the "C list" one final time.

It should be a real shoot-out. :dual9mm:

Driver picks for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Along with the championship of the MENCS being decided by this final race of the season, the championship of the NASCAR Pick 'Em 2019 game will also be decided.

Taking into consideration that second place @Elliott_Fan_9 has the advantage in the tie-breaker picks category over first place Clutch, what the game's championship boils down to is this.

@Clutch will win the championship if his pick, Corey LaJoie, is able to finish 37 positions (or less) behind Chase Elliott, the driver selected by @Elliott_Fan_9. That is, if Elliott finishes first, LaJoie must finish only 38th or better.

For @Elliott_Fan_9 to win the championship, Elliott must finish 38 positions (or more) ahead of LaJoie. Consequently, for @Elliott_Fan_9 to win it all, Elliott must finish first (with LaJoie finishing 39th or 40th) or second (with LaJoie finishing 40th).

Meanwhile, Martin Truex Jr. was the most popular pick this week, selected by seven players. John Hunter Nemechek was selected by four players.
Thanks to all for participating.

As I said after the last race, it ain't over 'till it's over.

It's over.

Hardy congratulations to @Clutch for his championship performance in this year's rendition of the Pick 'Em game.

Incredibly, @Clutch was the game's leader from the ninth race of the season until the very end.

The other podium positions went to game rookie @Elliott_Fan_9 and last year's champion @Fordracing7.

Congrats to the @Head423 and @jws926 for picking race winner, and MENCS champion, Kyle Busch. They share this week's "Highest Finishing Pick" award.

Thanks to all for participating.

Hope to see you back for next year's game.

Thanks guys I'm pretty stoked to be the 2019 Pick 'Em Champion 2019.

I can't wait for the Trophy to arrive. @pjmolo says its being delivered by Amazon. All the best trophies come from Amazon. :)

I ask that the engraving reads ..."Dedicated to the memory of our dear friend Johali"

I sure wish he was still here to congratulate me and give me some stick.

Miss you Gator.
