I'm happy.. just started with my better driver picks and Larson got me a 3rd.. my second best finish of the year next to Logano at Richmond
Logano. P2 to P17.
Yes Bowyer and Almirola disappointed.I can't believe Bowyer did this to me, I was expecting at least a top ten.
Surprisingly few good picksMy driver finished 25th and I moved up a spot, lol.
I really wanted some good value out of my recent picks, which I didn't get. My last four finishes: 26th, 26th, 26th & today 27th. They're all backmarkers but still, a little dissapointing.
What I love about this game is that it's all about skill. No luck involved at all.
I agree, first time playing and I have been leading laps and staying top 10 all season.
I bet JJ wishes he could say that.
Luck is certainly a factor ... not sure it trumps (sorry) stupid.
My Michigan pick sat on the pole ... ran up front ... held the lead ...
Blew a tire and raced his way back to the front, went in for service, authorized his credit card for $80 and found out he needed $87.39 worth of fuel. Third became 19th.
Well I only have 2 decent drivers left......I broke out the calculator and I have to gain an average of 17.30769230769231 points a race on @Clutch to beat him. Good luck wid dat.
Rather like having 2 sets of new tires in the truck with 13 races left on the schedule ... and no credit.Well I only have 2 decent drivers left......

Any response from you implies sarcasmRather like having 2 sets of new tires in the truck with 13 races left on the schedule ... and no credit.
No reason your strategy won't work.
i really must give some thought to using some sort of sarcasm emoji thing ...

Clearly, I've been doing it all wrong. The only strategy involved is getting as few points as possible every week.
Sure, but in the mean time I'd suggest trying to reduce your points per race ASAPClearly, I've been doing it all wrong.
I will wait for Homestead to decide whether or not to follow along with your plan next year.
Next year I'm drawing names out of a hat rather than trying to use strategy
Next year I'm drawing names out of a hat rather than trying to use strategy
Now ya'll know why I use my technique. I usually get a top ten or better but not this year. With how this game works, I really think the hat technique is just as good as trying strategy. Everyone will have to use the same drivers anyway and we have learned that even drivers who perform well at certain tracks can still cost you a bunch of points. I will probably go with the hat strategy too, that way I can blame the hat instead of myself.

But not first. We come to win only.@Johali's driver selection technique resulted in him using primarily "C Group" drivers during the first 18 races and he finished the first half of the season with a dismal average of 24.3 points per race.
However, so far in the second half he's been in top form with an average of 8.0 points per race.
If he can keep that pace up he's got a decent chance of finishing in the top ten.
After all of this time you know that's my goal. If I get a top ten every year, I'm good to go. This is the toughest damn race game that I've played but I love it.@Johali's driver selection technique resulted in him using primarily "C Group" drivers during the first 18 races and he finished the first half of the season with a dismal average of 24.3 points per race.

Sez the newcomer in seventh with two lower A's and four B's left. Two of which should be C's.But not first. We come to win only.
Been reading your stuff for 5 years now, I'm a slow learner.Sounds like something I would have written
and the key word here is New comer and only 76 yrs young.Sez the newcomer in seventh with two lower A's and four B's left. Two of which should be C's.
