The NASCAR Cup Series winds up its "regular season" with the running of the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway in a race that will determine the 16th and final driver to qualify for the series' playoffs.

The game's most popular driver pick, Kaz Grala, was selected by six players.

Justin Haley was selected by five players while Landon Cassill and Michael McDowell were each selected by three.
Good luck to all and thanks for participating.

This is why I picked LaJoie…he ran well all night, was in contention, caught up in a last lap wreck started by Kurt, went from 2nd to finishing 17th…but still better than his typical result. Daytona is such a nut buster.

And the rich get richer as the player that's held the top position in the standings for the majority of the season, @Snappy D, shares the "Highest Finishing Pick" award with @Spotter22 following the second place finish by their pick, Bubba Wallace, in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway.

In the 26 regular season races @Snappy D has now had 8 top five picks along with 15 top ten picks.

The "Most Upward Movement" award was shared by @Spotter22, who moved up six spots to 9th place, and @JJ_14, who moved up six spots to 17th place.

Congrats once again to @Snappy D who has held the top spot in the standings following eleven of the last thirteen races.

The "Wiping Up The Rear" award was dusted off during the race in anticipation of Michael McDowell finishing in last place but unfortunately for the two players that picked him, @MAGICMILER and @superchuck500, they won't have an addition to their trophy case due to Chris Buescher being disqualified and awarded last place. Tough break.

An unwritten rule of the game dictates that a player that picks a disqualified driver (in this case @Mr Excitement) is not an eligible recipient of the prestigious "Wiping Up The Rear" award.

Tough luck for @Mr Excitement who, after making a pick for each and every race, finds himself mired in last place in the standings 46 points behind @Stewart Fan, who has now failed to make a pick for five races, including the last three.

I thought a player gets dropped after three "no picks".

In previous years a player was dropped after four "NO PICKS" but that rule was eliminated this year and players simply withdraw from the game upon losing interest.

Considering that @Stewart Fan hasn't been on the board in almost a month I just hope everything's OK with him.
