Hey @pjmolo what’s the record for consecutive weeks lead? I have hardly no chance of winning it all now. Just need something to hang my hat on.

Funny you should ask. The record is 25 consecutive races which you now share with @Michfan.

In 2017 @Michfan took over the top of the leader board following the 12th race of the season and kept that position until the 36th and final race.

Interestingly, @Michfan didn't win the season championship that year.

In the last race, @Snappy D (now known as @Jorge De Guzman) gained 20 points on @Michfan and they ended up in a tie for the top spot.

The championship went to @Snappy D based upon the tie-breaker numbers.

Good times.

I've learned in this game that leaving the best drivers for last is not necessarily the best strategy. The reason is that sometimes there are substitute drivers late in the season, so using the top drivers early might be the way to go.

I won two titles with it

Congrats @Spotter22 on a perfect pick. It’s like the three leaders ahead of you were drafting and ran up into bad traffic. You took the apron and got out front! Now have to see if Blaney and Stenhouse can close this out for you.

BTW, @Head423 will be pitting Truex and Larson against you. should be a great finish!

Well i have a C pick coming up, things may work out for the others

In 2020 I won with it as well. Saved the top 10 in rankings for the last 10 races
You win this game with getting great value from C and low end B drivers. How you do that, that’s the great mystery. But in my time here these games end up close at the end. IMO......I’d rather go down swinging with all A drivers in the last races of the season trying to win a championship, than plugging in a C and hoping for the best. This year it hasn’t worked as I think I’ll finish outside the top 10, the A’s I used at the end here just haven’t gotten that performance from them, but I won’t change my thinking...just unlucky.

The NASCAR Cup Series found itself at the southern-most track on its schedule for the running of the Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The most popular driver pick, selected by eleven players, was 27th place finisher John Hunter Nemecheck.

The "Highest Finishing Pick" award went to @Spotter22, @AuzGrams, @hmmm298, and @aunty dive thanks to their pick of the race winner, Kyle Larson.

The "Most Upward Movement" award went to @aunty dive as he moved up four positions in the standing.

Meanwhile, the top of the leader board changed hands for the first time since the 9th race of the season, the Bristol Dirt race.

Running with his pick of the race winner, @Spotter vaulted past three other players while wrestling the first place position away from long-time leader, @Head.

The fight for the Pick 'Em championship continues to be a battle royal as five players still have a reasonable shot at winning it with two races remaining.

Going to be a good ol fashioned slobber knocker till the end.

Not for me. All my slobber done got knocker'd the last two weeks. I saved two hot shoes for the last two 1.5ers on the schedule, Larson for Las Vegas and Reddick for Homestead. Got P35 and P35 for 70 points in two weeks.

If I had reversed the drivers, I'd have scored P6 and P1 and shoulda, coulda, woulda been firmly in the Top 10.

I hate NASCAR Pick 'Em.

My Logano pick was one of my bright spots this season. I've seen better days.
