So much for saving Josh Berry for this race.
I didn't pick Berry at Richmond because I kept thinking he'd struggle at challenging tracks. He finished 2nd that race, while my pick of Hamlin finished 20th. Hopefully another ride opportunity presents itself for him.

If I pick Elliott at Martinsville I will have picked the driver of the #9 car in three consecutive races. :puffin:

Actually, that's not entirely true.

I used Taylor and Berry back-to-back but went with Davenport in the #13 in the last race. :owquitit:

If I can get a top 15 out of Aric Almirola today I will feel good about it.
A top 10 will feel like a win to me.

A top 10 would be huge, considering he has 0 of them thus far. He's not likely to get many this season.

I'm proud of Preece, he could've given up after that speeding penalty, but instead kept digging & salvaged a top 15. It'll keep me in the fight for now. Congrats to @Greg & @Old 97 on that 6th place finish by Almirola.

I nominate Aric Almirola for value pick of the week. It's his first top 10 of the season, & surely there won't be many more. We'll see though.

Nobody picked Stenhouse, he has been very impressive as of late for that single team organization.

The wheel was not to be trusted on this one...but AJ did get a penalty

Congratulations to @Clutch and @hmmm298 for taking the "Highest Finishing Pick" award thanks to the third place finish of their pick, Martin Truex Jr., in the NOCO 400 at Martinsville Speedway.

Congratulations also to @Old 97 as he maintained his hold on first place in the standings for the fourth consecutive race.

The "Most Upward Movement" award was taken by @hmmm298 as he moved up five spots in the standings.

The top three players in the standings have, not surprisingly, reached those spots with streaks of great finishing picks.

In the last five races @Old97 has had four top-ten picks, including two top-five picks.

In the last six races @Clutch has had five top-ten picks, including four top-five picks.

And in the last seven races @Head423 has had six top-ten picks, including four top-five picks.

Meanwhile, the "Slipping & Sliding" award was shared by @antman12, @DC76, and @pjmolo following their fall of five spots in the standings.

In an attempt to recover from my disastrous pick at Bristol (some guy named Davenport), I felt like I needed to go with one of the Hendrick hot rods.
Guess I picked the wrong one. :owquitit:

This is the only contest I've had any luck in this year.
I wish this one paid so I could cover my Draftkings loses. LOL

I also get the "doofus award" for not making a pick. SMH
