It feels good to be on the other side of things, P3. This is the second week in a row that I make up ground on the leader.

A 5th isnt a home run but I will gladly take that with the Lagano pic.

People better be looking out cause I am fixin to be in the top 25

The 34 team sure **** the bed today. l knew l should have saved McDowell for Sonoma like I've done every year since I started playing this game.

Huge shoutout and congrats for anybody who picked the 2.

This is a good track for Cindric. I did my typical 30 seconds of “research” and had the 2 as my Pick…only to realize I had already used him so I switched to the 12. Womp Womp. Cindric has finished 11,12 and qualified 2nd this year. Great pic for those that did.

A 5th from Logano is amazing, considering how he's run this year. His average finish after Gateway is 17.6.

His last two and now last three there have all been top fives including one win. The 22 hasn't been as good overall for a while but I liked his trend at WWT and he had some good practice numbers too.

My original intent was to go with Kyle Busch and I had saved him for this race. But I just didn't feel as good about him Sunday morning. Some times the intuition is good and some times it is not, thankfully it was this time.

For comparison, Brad Keselowski has an average finish of 13.5, which means that a 5th place from Logano is more valuable than a 3rd from Keselowski.

Hocevar came thru for me. I liked the way he looked in practice, Kid is a soft footed driver, just what you needed here.

I think he has a great future if he keeps his head on straight. He has the skills and speed to go a long way.

Logano traditionally is a pick that anything less than a win is a waste but I’m happy with a 5th

Whomever y'all pick, don't make it Blaney...

The racing-forum.com version of Nostradamus tried to warn us of the impeding doom that he saw coming down upon Ryan Blaney and was laughed off by us all as the #12 car appeared to be headed to victory lane until . . . the very last lap of the race.

Then again, in the midst of his prophetic vision, @RayinTX slipped up while posting his quatrain and, along with five others, made Blaney his pick for the race.

And so it goes . . .

Meanwhile, congratulations to @Conover and @Clutch, the recipients of the "Highest Finishing Pick" award following the first place finish of their pick, Austin Cindric, in the Enjoy(s) Illinois 300 at the World Wide Technology Raceway.

That's the second consecutive race that @Clutch has used his erratic time zone differential machine to pick the race winner.

The "Most Upward Movement" award went to @Greg as his pick of fifth place finisher Joey Logano enabled him to gain six positions in the standings and move to within sniffin' distance of the Top 20 in the standings, a spot he hasn't seen since the first race of the season.

The "Slipping & Sliding" award was shared by @LibertyU24 and @Blaze when their picks caused each of them to drop four spots in the standings.

The "Top Five" club saw @Spotter22 replace both @antman12 and @ToyYoda in the fifth place spot when his long shot pick, Carson Hocevar, brought it home in eighth place.

Currently the hottest player in the game, @Spotter22 has picked a driver with a Top 10 finish in seven of the last eight races, enabling his movement from 24th to 5th place in the standings.

Additional congratulations to @Biggreen695 who has used his picks of a Top 5 finishing driver in each of the last three races to take over the top spot in the standings for the second time this season.

Finally, the "Wiping Up the Rear" award is hereby presented to the only two-time champions of the Pick 'Em game, @Head423 and @Jorge De Guzman, thanks to the last place finish of their pick, Josh Berry.

I can't believe I'm 13th, got off to a rocky start this year but slowly improving. Lots of struggling picks this week, I've been on the other side before so I'm happy to be on the good side for once.

Can we have a playoff system and re rack this thing in a few weeks. My only hope of catching up.
