Congratulations to @Biggreen695, the recipient of the "Highest Finishing Pick" award, following the fourth place finish of his pick, Carson "Hurricane" Hocevar, in the Autotrader 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

The top of the leader-board remained in the hands of game newcomer @TommyGunn whose picks after two races have averaged a finish of 8th place and some change.

The "Most Upward Movement" award, now awarded to the player that has gained the most points relative to the leader, also goes to @Biggreen695 as he is now eleven points (and nine spots) closer to the top of the player standings.

The big mover towards the top of the standings, however, was @REBS31 who used the seventh place finish of his pick, Zane Smith, to make a jump from 30th place to 13th.

The "Slipping & Sliding" award was taken by @2 Sweet due to his failure to make a pick which saw him lose 24 points relative to the leader to a spot on the bottom of the standings.

The game saw the return of a former player as @Truex_rox, now known as @Iceman, got a pick in after missing the first race of the season.

A shout-out to the five players that are off to a rough due to their picks of the 38th place finisher (Justin Allgaier) in the Daytona 50 and 36th place finisher (Ricky Stenhouse Jr.) in the Atlanta race.

Finally, the illustrious "Wiping Up the Rear Award" made its first appearance of the season when Josh Berry, picked by @Spotter22, finished dead last at Atlanta thereby placing the former game champion in next to last place in the standings.

I'd like to thank the Academy! Watch out! I'm coming for you now! Game on. ;)

These plate races are a crapshoot. Overthinking usually does me no good at said races. I just try to be bold, and go with a driver who normally runs in the 20’s.

I’m doing good thus far. Already made my pick for COTA.

I don’t do too much thinking with my picks. When I give it too much thought, that’s when I don’t get good results.
