Congratulations to the six players, that being
@Clutch,
@ken,
@aunty dive,
@Conover,
@Greg, and
@Magicmiler, that captured the "Highest Finishing Pick" award thanks to the first place finish of their pick, first time winner Ty Gibbs, in the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
For the sixth consecutive race the top of the leader board remained in the hands of
@hmmm298 when his pick, Carson Hocevar, managed a tenth place finish although five of the six players positioned behind
@hmmm298 before the race were able to cut into his lead, including second place
@TommyGunn who is now in a position to pull off a classic bump-and-run maneuver.
The Top Five Club welcomed
@aunty dive back into the mix as he rejoined
@hmmm298,
@TommyGunn,
@Clutch, and
@ken when he slipped into a tie for fifth place with
@Michfan, thirty-two points back of the leader.
The group of seven players that had picked a Top Ten finishing driver in the three previous races lost two members, however four of those players (
@Biggreen695,
@Clutch,
@Conover, and
@TommyGunn) were able to extend the streak to four consecutive races while
@Michfan has now done it for five straight.
Along with sharing the "Highest Finishing Pick" award,
@Conover also took the "Most Upward Movement" award following his gain of nine points relative to the leader and a gain of six spots in the standings.
The "Slipping & Sliding" award was taken by
@Blaze, the current occupant of last place in the standings, due to an unfortunate "NO PICK" on his part which caused a drop of twenty-eight points relative to the leader as well as a slid of four spots in the standings.
