The deadline for submittal of drivers picks for the first race of the 2026 season is Sunday, February 15th, 1:30 p.m. Eastern time.

Lest anyone needs a refresher, the NASCAR Pick 'Em Game Rules For Dummies reads like this:

First and foremost, there is no sign-up or registration aspect to the game.

For each and every points paying NASCAR Cup Series race, each player selects a driver that is expected to have a relatively good finishing position in that race.

A particular driver may be used as a player's pick for one, and only one, race during the course of the season.

Game points are awarded based upon the finishing position of the player's driver pick in that race.

1st place finish = 1 point . . . . 40th place finish = 40 points, with all finishes in between awarded appropriately.

At season's end the game's Championship Plaque is awarded to the player that has the fewest total points after the 36th and final points race.

Complete game rules, including how to submit driver picks, can be found in this thread:

Due to potential weather forecasted for the Daytona Beach area late Sunday, NASCAR today announced the DAYTONA 500 NASCAR Pick 'Em 2026 driver submittal deadline will move up one hour from its originally scheduled time to now begin at of 1:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET.

May not work out but I went with JJ based on the amount of remaining races or starts among the the dark horses.

That's why he's in the other series.

Maybe Ty Gibbs should join him there. Wasn't he your last boytoy? Jumping off the bandwagon already, huh? OK, I guess going 0 for 130 in elite equipment, a feat no other JGR driver has ever accomplished, might do that. Can't say I blame you

The NASCAR Pick 'Em 2026 game is once again off to a roaring start following another wild, wacky, and wreck-fest of an automobile race called the Daytona 500.

Congrats to @TommyGunn, a newcomer to the game, for taking the "Highest Finishing Pick" Award thanks to the second place finish of his pick, Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

The most popular pick, Justin Allgaier, looked promising to the fourteen players that selected him but that bubble burst when he took a knock-out blow to the chin while battling Denny Hamlin for the lead in a wreck that took Algaier and two other drivers out of the race.
