Due to a prior commitment, game management will be unable to post the picks for the Phoenix race until sometime after the start of the race.

Meanwhile, ol'whathisname has let it be known that he's betting on Ty Dillon to win. :idunno:

With the exception of Hocevar at ATL my 2026 pick ‘em campaign is a curse for guys running in the top 5 smfh

Looks like most of us struggled this weekend. Still, Logano was doing good. Tough break.

Crazy amount of bad picks. You don't see that very often.

Congratulations to @Michfan, the recipient of the "Highest Finishing Pick" award, thanks to the first place finish of his pick, Ryan Blaney, in the Straight Talk Wireless 500 at Phoenix Raceway.

The top of the leader-board remained in the hands of @hmmm298 who was able increase his lead over those chasing him by taking advantage of the miserable finishes by their picks.

Along with the "Highest Finishing Pick" award, the "Most Upward Movement" award also went to @Michfan after his gain of 13 spots in the standings and 17 points relative to the standings leader.

The "Slipping & Sliding" award was snatched by @TommyGunn due to his pick of the last place finishing driver, Chase Briscoe, which caused him to lose 19 points relative to the leader thereby by dropping him from second to third place in the standings.

Finally, that last place finish by Briscoe meant that the "Wiping Up the Rear" award made an appearance for the second time this season when it was placed firmly in the left hand of @TommyGunn as he held the "Slipping and Sliding" award in the right.

I felt bad when Logano wrecked, but seeing the standings and all the bad picks made me feel a little better. 😬

Only 3 top 10's this weekend. That's crazy!

On to Las Vegas!

Collectively, the Pick 'Em contestants made bad picks of historic proportions.
> Only 3 top-10's.
> Only 6 top-20 picks (including the 3 top-10's plus 3 others).
> There were 20 picks that scored P30 or higher.

Such a week was very tricky to navigate, but I managed to remain firmly in last place, with an average score of P35.0 for the four races so far. God, how I hate this game!

I made my pick early in the week for COTA with McDowell and it worked out well. Waited till after qualifying and practice this week and received a 34th place for my efforts. I’ve got my pick locked in already for Vegas. We were shown with last years champion that waiting till after practice and qualifying isn’t necessary.

You're off to a rough start, but it's very early in the season. There is still time to turn things around. Good luck!

I think 18th is great value on Herbst especially with all the trouble others had.
