Once again, I made my pick Monday, and he qualified well. I've had good qualifying results, but that hasn't translated to Sundays.

I wanted a top 10, but 17th isn't the end of the world. It could have been better, and it could have been way worse too.

Who am I kidding? I can't be mediocre and expect to win this game.

I say to Chloe, “I’m happy with the result, but just curious as to why you didn’t pick Bowman.”

Her response…”Because I didn’t!”

Look, she’s doing better than I did last year, but I don’t understand why she’s giving me attitude. Cat’s gonna cat I suppose. 🤷‍♂️

Congratulations to @FLRacingFan, @RayinTX, and @Truex_rox, the recipients of the "Highest Finishing Pick" award as their pick, Kyle Larson, was the first driver to take the checkered flag in the Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

That's now the third consecutive race that the highest finishing pick was the winner of the race following up on @DanicaFreak's pick at Phoenix and @ToyYoda's pick at Las Vegas.

The top of the leader board remained in the hands of the successfully rehabilitated @aunty dive when the 9th place finish of his pick, Ryan Preece, gave the ol' dog five Top Ten finishing picks in the first six races, including three Top Five picks.

There's a lot of bumpin' and bruisin' going on behind @aunty dive in the race to the front as the difference in the standings between second (@Hawaii808) and eighth (@ToyYoda) place is a mere 13 points.

And with four consecutive Top Ten finishing picks, @DanicaFreak is solidly in that mix as are @FLRacingFan, @RayinTX, and @antman12, each with three consecutive Top Ten finishing picks.

The race winning pick by @Truex_rox and the third place finish by @Gators423!'s pick, Bubba Wallace, enabled each of them to move up six spots in the standings, thereby enabling them to share the "Most Upward Movement" award.

Finally, both the "Slipping & Sliding" award and the "Wiping Up The Rear" award were left untouched when @Magicmiler simply refused to accept them after the last place finish of his pick, Carson Hocevar, resulted in the once Magic Man dropping a whopping 13 spots to nearly the bottom of the standings.
