NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Dover

Looking forward to some good, hard racing. Dover is an awsome track.

Go #17

I should know this...but is Dover a banked mile?

P.S. - we've had lotsa rain here in GA this spring - my tomatos are kicking a_s :)

1 mile, concrete, 24 degrees of banking in the corners and 9 on the straights.

I wonder if the Old Man can break through today. Dover's been a good track for Mark Martin for many years, even though I'm still bitter about the 1994 fall race.

Bitterness is your middle name, it would appear!

I would love to see Kram Nitram in Victory Lane!!
Mostly, I am looking for some great racing and the farewell of FOX!

1994 is a tough one to get over -- even if Mark did wear the other shoe in 2004 when Kasey Kahne ran over some oil and wrecked.

That's not a good crowd. :(

Unless FOX is only zooming in on the empty seats... looks like a full house when they're zoomed out.

Johnson's car looks like the old Junie Donlevy/Bobby Hillin Heilig-Meyers car.

I'm confused, I thought this is what Tony wanted based on his interview several weeks ago, yet he seemed unhappy.
:XXROFL:

It's most certainly what Andy wanted. A half-filled stadium, the final FOX race of the year, an early multi-car wreck, all of which will give him endless opportunities to over-analyze and criticize (the track, the cars, the tires, NASCAR, the spotters, the broadcasters) any number of drivers for not being up to his high and mighty standards.

Oh yeah, Andy is in Hog Heaven today!!!!!!!!

Eff ewe. :)

I'm actually enjoying this race now that the backmarkers are out. Git r' dun Mark!

Kind of ho-hum for me but I'm expecting it to pick up eventually.
