NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Richmond

Didn't you listen to Joe Gibbs Mike, he said it was team orders

:D

I wouldn't doubt it if it was. Denny winning was the difference in the points lead. Kyle winning wouldn't have helped Denny at all.

But..... Kyle winning would have helped Kyle. He would have only been 10 points out of the lead. I can see the 'team orders' thing happening should it have meant the difference in winning or not winning the championship, but simply for a 10 point lead with 10 races remaining, I doubt it.

Ya plus dennys car was just the better one. If it was anyone else Kyle would have probably tried to do a more dangerous move to get the lead but the thing is it would have been even worse for him to try it and wreck both of them. There isn't any point in doing that and he would have been labeled bonehead of the week for it.

This speculation that team orders were given is nonsense.

Denny had a faster car and/or was just better at getting around the track. Kyle drove his ass off trying to catch and pass Denny and in doing so, wore out the tires.

Denny got first, Kyle got 2nd after an impressive run from a 32nd starting position. End of story.

imo the only team orders was not to wreck your teammates. other than that have at it.
