NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Southern California

hey we have not seen a late race debris caution in awhile....at least they showed it.

Does ever more then 2 drivers try it?

Man, that was a pretty awsome race! For the complaining we usually hear about Cali, they showed up today!

On a personal note, I am really proud of the #24 top 10 finish. That could have been ALOT worse! Also, the #48 is looking to be on his way to five in a row.

Best Cali race ever. They raced like rain was eventually going to interrupt the race. Not a Gordon fan, but he finally finished a race! If he would have finish the previous ten races like today, just sayin...

So, do we lobby NASCAR to give Cali a second date now?

Just because Fontana had one exciting race doesn't mean it should keep the date. I still say the date should've gone to Bristol, but whatever.

Just looked at the results after being on the road all day, what a mess. What the hell happened to Roush? I see Biff blew up, David Regan had an accident but what happened to Carl and Kenseth?

Did Kyle really blow up or did he try to kill the car after a bad day?

Sounds like Cali was actually exciting, I DVR'd it, is it worth watching?

Edwards spent 14 laps behind the wall after it shut off. Kenseth was blowing smoke out the tailpipes for about the last 20 laps.

Kyle was running 5th or so at the time so I think it dun blowed up

...Did Kyle really blow up or did he try to kill the car after a bad day?...

Kyle was driving like a madman on a mission when his rice grinder gave up. They were adjusting and getting the car where it need to be. 95 degrees, the track was pretty slick and Kyle was moving to the front.

Busch floated a valve on a restart. The TV guys were lauding Edwards' mechanics for their diagnostic skills, but all they did was kill 14 laps changing parts until it started up.

Yeah, this was a rare race. Usually at Fontana, what position you qualify in is what position you finish in.

Actually, Cali has a ton of lead changes and position changes.

The difference is the drivers usually roll over and give each other the positions. Yesterday, they didn't.

Maybe the drivers finally figured out they're killing the sport by riding around and not racing. Whatever happened yesterday.... that was a HELL of a race!
