NASCAR Things That Made You Cringe/ LOL

Speedway Motorsports, Inc. (NYSE: TRK) Rings the NYSE Opening Bell®
WHEN
JUNE 2, 2016 @ 9:26 AM - 9:30 AM EDT
The New York Stock Exchange welcomes executives and guests of Speedway Motorsports, Inc. (NYSE: TRK). Bruton Smith, Executive Chairman, will ring the NYSE Opening Bell® to highlight 100 days out from Pilot Flying J Battle at Bristol between Virginia Tech and University of Tennessee.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bruton Smith opened the NYSE today and started ringing the bell about 20 seconds early, drawing lusty boos from the floor. Just happened to have CNBC on this morning and saw it. Was looking for video of it on line but couldn't find. Somebody will surely post it eventually.

It's true. Let me read you an excerpt...

"She stared lovingly at Jimmy Spencer's sturdy frame glistening in the sunlight, fighting off every urge and desire as she watched Jimmy stuff himself into his Camel Ford...."

Just wait until she gets to the blown head gasket part....

I know others have said it, but Boogity is absolutely mine. I finally got my wife into NASCAR last year after taking her to the Firecracker 400. This season, whenever the race started, I would mute the tv for a moment so I could avoid having to try to explain this ridiculous thing to her (she found it really stupid when she finally heard it). I'm not in the DW hate club, I think he's fairly entertaining. But I think the majority of fans have heard enough Boogities to last a lifetime.

1)any exciting finish where d.w. screams over mike joy. how has mike not punched him?

2)danica's interviews. "um" "uhhh" "umm" "uhhhh" "uhhh" "ummm"

As bad as Danica's interviews can be at times, they're nowhere near as bad a Dale Earnhardt Jr was for a long time. He was awful to listen to, mainly in post race. Dreadful.

Another one is Austin Dillon's slide. That's just bad.

That's a penalty for jumping the start.

2006 ... 180 fakealoo debris cautions.

Definitely a watershed year.

Debris cautions (It started with the Fox era and it's still going strong, Jaques Debris turn 3!)

Caution clocks (F*ck you Brian France)

The Chase (If you need manufactured drama to be entertained... Well... This is right up your alley!)

Nascar's Sexiest Driver Campaign (Brian France's brilliant plot to get more women into the sport. C R I N G E)

Allen Bestwick (Very phony and obnoxious.I have to mute the TV every time he talks about a "change of plot")

Michael Waltrip's comparison of late race debris cautions to the two minute warning in football (I hate Michael Waltrip)

Angry pouty Danica (Fun, but cringy!)

Nascar's "Young Guns" campaign (which included 30 year old Dale Jr of course. A middle aged young gun if you will)

Any Kasey Kahne allstate commercial *shudder*

The only thing that makes me cringe of late from FOX is Mikey's grid walk, lucky for me, I dont watch it anymore most of the time.

Unnecessary full course cautions on the Road Courses.
Oh yeah, its time maybe NASCAR thought about using local yellows.............wait, they would probably screw that up and add a caution clock for local yellows

Brad Keselowski's admiration of Ray Lewis

The '57 Chevy paint scheme.

The Indy race with all the tire issues. That was the most embarrassingly bad race I've seen in any series. Yeah, there's been other boring races, but that one made Nascar, Goodyear, and the teams all look totally incompetent. Cautions for new tires every 10 laps, and it seemed to go on forever. It was worse than the F1 Indy GP where a bunch of drivers parked their cars over tire issues.

Nothing was worse than that. F1 **** on the entire world that day.

Nearly seeing the end of stock car racing in America at Talladega in 2009. When Ryan Newman hit Carl's
flying car I thought it was over.
