Judging on the early release date of NCAA Football 2004, I assume they might bump up the release date a few days early.

hopefully EA sports gets it's act together and starts releasing the NASCAR games before the daytona 500 like papyrus used to.

The difference is Papyrus's games are only for computers so people who know how to can easily change the paint jobs on the cars or the driver's names when they need to. EA's main audience is video games, and you can't modify a video game like you can a computer game. If they released it at the beginning of the year we'd have Steve Park in the #1, Jeff Green in the #30, Mike Skinner in the #4, John Andretti in the #43 etc.
