I wasn't able to access the feed either and, unlike Greg, I don't know anything about being inside Miss Sprint Cup.

Did they happen to explain why they added Gordon without knocking Logano out ?
 
There's like 5 drivers in this chase just trying to come to grips with making it in.. immediately before a race weekend. This'll be an interesting weekend. Bummed I'm missing it..now anyway haha

Helton's basically saying deals to switch places used to be commonplace, but they are now making the decision that it will no longer be allowed. He compared it to racing to the line on a caution formerly being the norm, but now they don't allow that anymore.

going to have to eat that one. Penske wheelbase..no fine, the Joey is in, probation?..at least Jeff got in.

Well actually I just saw a big INSIDE (nascar) insignias, and a big picture of Miss Sprint Cup and that was all I needed.

Is that even to just lead a lap? I got no problem with someone letting someone lead a lap, as long as they give it back and then try to race for position

Something about there wasn't... crap what did he say exactly...enough proof, so to speak, to knock Logano out. That isn't exactly what he said but you get the idea.

They didn't go into details. They said they would make it all "extremely" clear to the drivers tomorrow.

Well hopefully it's only things like what happened the other night, letting someone lead a lap to help them out isn't that bad to me, they still have to try later to get a great finish.
 
Seems to me that this was the only way that NASCAR could deal with the pressure they were feeling from an irresistable force (Hendrick) and an immovable object (Penske).

play fair, integrity of the sport, represent different meanings to different people, all the way from some saying throw them in prison to Circus. It's done, I'm ok with it. About as fair as they can make it..fair being another one of those grey area words.
 
They actually added Jeffy to the Chase, but then Logano gets to stay in? HAHAHA!! I swear, at this point they are just making this stuff up as they go along! :XXROFL:
 
Just to make sure I get this straight...Martin Truex Jr gets booted out of the Chase even though he had nothing to do with the Clint Bowyer spin but Logano's team can cut monetary deals with other teams and STILL KEEP THEIR CHASE SPOT......Gotcha

Nice little Twitter spat going on. Jim Utter's giving Fox Sports 1 hell over their reporting about improper communication "between" teams. And Fox Sports 1 employees aren't happy.
