Here's a good one:prior to Greg Biffle at Daytona...who was the last driver to win in car#16?
Let me qualify that:the last WC win with the car #16.

Bobby Allison - 1975 Southern 500

Driving one of Penske's AMC Matadors.........

Yep.Bobby in the Matador. :) Bobby has driven and won in several car makes....including AMC.

Man,I miss my old Javelin!

But speaking of Musgrave, who drove a #16 wc car BEFORE Ted and after Bobby?

Good grief, ya want them all or just the highlights??

Wally Dallenbach in the early 90's

Morgan Shepherd around '85 or so for a few races

David Pearson around '83 and '84

Rusty Wallace when he first came to WC in 1980

Probably some others mixed in as well.

What primary manufacturer did these guys drive in there winning years.

Richard petty
David Pearson
Cale Yarborough

HS doesn't surprise me...but you other guys are GOOD at this.

Let me add one real quick:

What driver has a PERFECT NASCAR wc record.....one race/one win?
Jim Roper won in his first and only race. It was also the first race ever run by NASCAR.

The race was actually won by Glen Dunnaway, with a three lap lead but was disqualified as the car was not completely "stock". It apparently was used to haul moonshine and springs had been spread.
This race also had one other interesting side note. Sara Christian, the first woman to compete in a NASCAR race entered. She qualified 13th and finished 14th.

Now just so ya don't get all worked up, I had the Jim Roper info, but had to look up the other information on the race to find how many laps Dunnaway was ahead at the end of the race. I just had this conversation with Hardscrabble a month or two ago.

Benny Parsons. June 7, 1981

Benny ran Dale E. down in the closing stages and passed him with four to go.

The track was hurting for certain by then. Only 34 cars showed up and that included every back up car NASCAR could talk the teams into putting on the track. Estimates are about 18,000 folks showed up................

Very good. Benny seems to have had a knack for that.

Here's a tough one: who ranks 2nd all-time, behind Richie Evans, with 8 NASCAR Touring championships?

Bonus points for naming the series(') that they came in.
