Honestly, NASCAR would have to be living under a rock to not notice it, so if they haven't addressed it, what's the big deal? Ultimately, they're the ones that make the rules and decide what's cheating and what isn't, not us.

Oh Chris, I'm having a hard time swallowing this explanation.
"Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano & Brad Keselowski make an unscheduled stop before the drop of the first green flag"With Nascar letting that go, I bet there won't be a car without the "side wing" after the first pit.
more like somebody got away with it, If you look at pit stops, whenever there is the slightest bump in the front, the first time the car is in the pits, the right front fender is getting pulled out....a lotI'm guessing it helps the car turn - kinda like how an offset rear axle creates crabbing and better turning. Sometimes when cars end up rubbing each other unexpected improvements happen and someone took notice.
It will take something similar to the Gordon-Earnhardt Jr. exhaust incident at Bristol a couple of years ago for them to take a serious look at it.I don't know how/why NASCAR is letting teams get away with it. One of these days it will cut a tire down and there will be a huge crapstorm. Obviously it's not legal, otherwise everyone would be doing it prior to the start of the race.
I really don't understand the big deal about them pulling on the side skirts. It ain't cheatin' if everyone's doing it and NASCAR allows it. These teams are already working in a small enough box. Let em have at it.
That's okay. We can blame that on Goodyear too.Umm I'm thinking that can easily cut someone's tire?
Now you're talking. The dreaded chariot scythe's.
