NASCAR's fuel system discussion.

Good lookin engine there BobbyFord 351 Cleveland or a M?

Like the truck too, my uncle used to have a 69 Ford F150, 390 and a 3 speed on the column with the electric overdrive hanging off the back.
He used to pass us on the way to the races pulling his race car on a open single axle trailer running 80-90mph we had an old GMC ramp truck that topped out about 60....downhill with a tailwind and the windows rolled up. Fun stuff back then, I sometimes wonder how we survived :D

My engine pictures

I just finished it last week. ;)

Here's me tailoring the plug wires...

I also built the automatic transmission, lowered the rear end 5 3/4", c-notched the frame, lowered the front 3", installed a '70 Mustang fuel tank under the bed behind the axle, relocated the battery, tubbed the rear wheel wells, etc.
I build Harley motors, too. I also MIG, TIG and gas weld. I rebuild manual and auto transmissions, rear ends, electrical, A/C, brakes (ABS and non). I do body fabrication and paint, too.
It's not done but here it is (the hood is off to install the hood scoop)...

This is my current unfinished project. There are many aspects of the build on this truck on another website.

It's a 460. The truck is ugly now but will be sweet when I get the bodywork done and the truck painted. I had an OD unit behind a 292 in my '61 short bed.

I'll Bet The Timing Is Off In The Photo

Dang Big Gun!
I can spot a 260/289/302 a 351 Windsor or any FE motor from a mile away but all those Clevelands, M's and 429/460's look the same to me :owquitit:
Oh I know a 427 Cammer and a 429 Shotgun when I see them too.

My Uncle's truck was painted Black red interior they painted it with Imron paint ( it was one of the original 2 part catalyst type paints ) which was Tuff as Nails I don't think it's EPA legal anymore?
