Nationwide at Daytona

Come on Kurt! get a win in that awesome car.

Let's just hope they don't do scenes from this movie, cause we'll see them eating Ice Cream, and well that wouldn't turn out too good.

I think I'll start watching my recording at about 9. That should get me clear of any commercials unless we get a red flag.

I'd like to see Kurt win in the City Chevrolet but I also wouldn't mind seeing Kyle Busch (because it pisses off so many people) or Kyle Larson win. Most importantly I'd like to see some great racing and a photo finish.

I just don't understand why they took away drivers capabilities to talk to each other inside the car.

Surprisingly clean so far. I like tandems more than I do packs; they make the drivers actually have to drive a bit more.

Not much to see for me since my driver is riding around in 35th place... At least he'll likely dodge the crash.

I thought you were suppose to keep below the yellow line when coming off pit road? Has Reed Sorenson learned nothing from Kevin Lepage?

Not sure, but it might have been because they don't always know who their partner is going to be. I remember some of the Cup guys had 9 or 10 channels programmed on their radios when they raced like this. Could be to cut down on distractions?

It was to break up the tandems. Two drivers could talk to each other so they knew when to swap or so one driver could say to another driver that they have to lift or go high or something.

Tandem racing sucks but, unfortunately, it's better than pack racing.

Pack racing sucks and tandem racing sucks? But yet I know you don't enjoy single file racing. So...what kind of racing do you enjoy?

I'm surprised we have gone 50 laps without a caution!

NASCAR should quit trying to break the tandems up. The pack racing in the Cup Series is just terrible.

No, they should work on trying to improve pack racing. Before tandems came along, pack racing used to be great, and it was pretty good at Talladega this year unlike last year, so I know the single-file all race problem at Daytona can be fixed.

No it wasn't. There were countless races where they rode around literally single file all race long until about 10 laps to go.
