Swervin' Sam relinquishes the point lead...
I'm flabergasted.Technically NASCAR followed their own rules when calling the winner...who would expect them to do that?
Did seem pointless. What dumbass threw the yellow with 50 yards to go?
Am I missing something? I don't get it...David Hoots is stupid.
I'll go back to it again, last year at Phoenix, after the big Gordon-Bowyer brawl in the garage, somebody was leaking oil all over the track and NASCAR insists on staying green despite multiple cars piling up on the oil.
And now, they ruin an awesome photo finish by calling a caution 50 yards before the finish line?
David Hoots either needs to be fired or have a very serious talking to.

David, who?
Ok, now I know who, but what're you getting at with your post? There are no quotation marks, but am I to presume that this comment came from Mr. Hoots? And if so, why does he need to be fired or talked to?David Hoots? NASCAR race director? Is it somebody else now?

Ahh, I get it now. Your punctuation threw me off. My bad.Huh? All comments were mine. Hoots is an idiot for when he decides to or not throw cautions.
Whats on second?lol I got a hoot out of this whole Abbott and Costello Hoots on first routine.
Dude, it was also a photo finish by him cautioning it.David Hoots is stupid.

There were about two dozen cars still running at the start of the GWC. Almost everyone in the wreck was in the Top 10 at the time so there were still about a dozen cars that hadn't cleared the accident yet at the time of the caution. That's why.Did seem pointless.
They're shortening the race.. 10 laps less.
I can't remember the most recent, but I do know that the race at Atlanta in November one year was shortened about 25 laps because of weather.Anyone know when the last time this happened? I thought they would mention it on the broadcast but I didn't hear anything.

I guess I forgot the meaning of the yellow flag. There were about two dozen cars still running at the start of the GWC. Almost everyone in the wreck was in the Top 10 at the time so there were still about a dozen cars that hadn't cleared the accident yet at the time of the caution. That's why.
I always did like the two car tandem. Literally ANYBODY who was in the field could win at a plate track in the two-car tandem days in Sprint Cup, as Trevor Bayne and David Ragan proved. Heck, even Mr. 43rd place himself, Joe Nemechek, was leading late in the July 2011 Daytona race. I like the pack racing too, but I thought the two-car tango offered an extra element of excitement as well.good race ! reagan's move from top ta bottom was great at end. even kurt got snookered !
after borin "all-in-line" cup race tomorrow........maybe fans will want 2 car pod racin back in cup plate races........like today ?
