Jeez, are these announcers blind? It was clear that DiBenedetto had a right rear going down that caused him to wreck, and Rusty's trying to say that he "lost it going into the turn".
 
Man what a finish. I dont care what they say about no more fueds in Nascar Edwards vs. Kesolowski has been going on since last spring and it aint gonna stop anytime soon.

Congrats to Carl. Keslowski just won"t ever learn will he. Daddy better sat that boy down and have a talk with him about messing with his elders.
 
Carl raced him clean until Keslowski tried to turn him on the previous lap.

Carl Edwards is kinda like Tom Meents (Maximum Destruction Monster Truck). They'll do anything to win, right down to the big, bad, ugly, and expensive.
 
Maybe Bob Keselowski should stick his kid in a golf cart instead of a NASCAR. Brad started it Carl finished it.

Ironically, I think Carl said the exact same thing about Tony once, no kidding.:D

Anyway, Krashelowski needs to quit while he's behind where Carl is concerned.
 
Just got home from local racing, and looking at the replay of that last lap. So Kez get Edwards a bit loose. OK, no problem. But Edwards hit and spin on Kezelowski was just a blantant attempt to wreck him. I don't like Kez at all, but what Edwards did was blatantly and attempt to crash the 22.

Boo to Edwards!

I haven't yelled that much at the tv in a long time during an end of a race. I'm so happy that Carl won. Brad tried to spin out Carl and take the win. Brad got what he deserved. The best part was Brad took awhile to even cross the finish line so Carl gained some in the standings as well.


Carl said it perfectly as well, Brad hit me and tried to take the win from me and I wasn't going to let him do that. Awesome!
 
WTG, Edwards!

No one has to bend over for Keselowski or his old man and they'll soon learn that the victim role gets you know where in the bigs.

Keselowski can BS all he wants, he tried to take the 99 out but didn't do the job and paid the price.

Man, the only thing worse than a spoiled kid is when the parents are there to back the brat up.
 
Ok I just got home from work and watched the replay on ESPN, gotta say that Carl really took him out, wasn't just a bump and run. I know they have a history, but one of these guys is going to seriously injure either themselves or some other driver if this continues. Dega was a close call, Atlanta the same, and last night was ugly. Maybe these two idiots need to sit a few races, that is no way for a Professional race car driver to drive, I use that term loosely. I'm used to seeing that kind of driving at the local tracks, not in the second highest tier of Nascar.
 
I think Bob needs to buy some of that AFLAC insurance for Brad, he's going to need it if he keeps ruffling those duck feathers.

Agreed, Brad did give him a bump and run to gain the lead, Carl flat out wrecked him.
He wrecked him in front of the field digging for all they have for the finish. That was a vicisous hit Brad took and it tore up a lot of race cars that were innocent 'bystanders'.
Carls comments after the race aren't going to help him any should Na$car review and decide he intentionaly caused a wreck.

FWIW I'm neither a Carl or Brad fan.
 
I looked at the video in slo-mo and it seems to me that Brad didn't have to do the bump and run. Carl was not holding him up and he could have tried to pass him clean but he decided to try to get Carl out of shape.

Bad move as it only brought retaliation from Carl.

Do I excuse either one? No.

I just feel bad for the other guys that suffered torn-up equipment because of these two guys not being able to race without hitting each other. They did fine the whole race and then had to show their asses on the last lap.
 
Bump-n-runs, there's a right way and a wrong way. A couple weeks ago, Busch and Johnson swapped bump-n-runs in the final laps of Louden. Busch got JJ in the bumper and moved him up the track. JJ got him back by....simply getting his bumper and moving him up the track to get the win.

Then there's the wrong way, retaliation the Edwards way. Have you noticed that when Carl retaliates, multiple cars are destroyed?
 
NASCAR has pulled Joey Logano's dad's hard card before, I wonder if Bob Keslowski won't be invited back again?

I keep trying to give Carl the benifit of a doubt. He cannot be intentionally trying to kill Brad , and surely he doesn't want to wreck half the field in the ensuing crash. What the heck would cause a professional race car driver to drive like that?:confused:
 
To me, it looked more like Brad got into the corner to hard and slid up into Carl. It also looked looked like Brad was trying to squeeze Carl off coming off of 4 and Carl just didn't lift.

Could you imagine the outcry if Kyle Busch had done what Carl or Brad did?

That's what I thought at first, but the more I look at the replay, the more it looks intentional especially since Brad has a reputation for intentionally wrecking drivers.

Carl could've killed Brad but you'd have to be an idiot if you didn't see that coming. I knew Brad was gonna try to wreck Carl and when he did, I knew Carl would wreck Brad.

do we get momma and his girlfriend's opinions next? carl needs to practice his bump n runs a bit more so as to just get the guy out of shape without wrecking him. may as well practice on kez. <g> actually was a good thing kez got knocked over the finish line at the end of the wreck or he would have lost more points.
 
Of course Nascar isn't gonna do anything, he's on of their "chosen ones". Brad did NOT try and take him out. He drove in a little deep and the car slid up the hill. What Carl did was just crash him for no reason other than to gain points on a driver that has clearly smoked him all season long.
 
If Carl is successful in killing Brad , would it be murder or just manslaughter?
 
I think if they were the ones being wrecked,we would be having this discussion.

Might just as well as apparently he's not man enough to finish what he starts and IMO, Edwards wasn't trying to get anyone lose - Keselowski slid up into him and the 99 didn't lift.
