Nationwide at Montreal

Marian dufault, you can get up now. Jacque need's that seat. Kez better install a huge "I'm NOT Jacque" sign when he gets back in the car.

I posted this in the ambrose double duty thread earlier in the week.

"Yep. He'll be in the #22, pressing the 'piss people off' button tryin to win the last NASCAR race at the track named for his Dad. A bunch of guys owe him big, so Penske should bring an old car out of retirement. Then they can just scrap it in Canada and save transportation costs."

Prophecy?

That one is a little hard to call. Steve was inside Carp, then Carp decided to move over and pass Annette. Looks like just one of those deals.

Nascar reviewed a decision on the 16 and then rescinded it?......Good on them

Thumbs up to the crowd, for cheering Patrick Carpentier (sp). His last race I think, winning would be better, but still they left him with a sweet memory.

Give them an A minus, if they want an A plus their going to need a redneck to step forward a suflex Steven Wallace.

I just got home from the truck race and what a great show that was. I was hoping to see the end of the Nationwide race but my Frontier FiOS is really messing up.

Did you see Danica turn straight into Fellows?.....lucky she didn't take him out

Woohoo awesome drive from Marcos came from the back twice.

.................What is expected to be the final career race for Canada's Patrick Carpentier ended when he was bumped off the track and out of the race by Wallace while challenging near the front with nine laps to go. He climbed onto some scaffolding at trackside and watched the race play out.

"I'm amazed a guy like Wallace has a full-time ride," Carpentier said. "It's like sometimes he spaces out. I've never said this before, but I think the guy is an idiot. But what can you do?"

Wallace apologized for the incident in a postrace TV interview, but Carpentier said: "He needs to apologize every race. His sponsor should be called My Apology."

Carpentier said: "He needs to apologize every race. His sponsor should be called My Apology."

Just for the heck of it, I translated 'my apology' to French, and it's a perfect sponsor for Steve.

"mess excuses"

Yeah, I added an 's', but it sounds the same.

Alex Tagliani will probably end up winning the bonehead of the weekend award, he does enough stupid moves in Indy so I don't expect anything less from him in the Nationwide race.

Negative. Alex did a great job! He climbs in a Nationwide car with very little seat time and drives a great race. 2nd place is a great finish.

Danica's brake problem hurt her day today. She would of had a better finish. She was running solid most of the day.

I was impressed with both of them, and Trevor and Brian Scott too.

I agree about Tags. Nice work! I disagree about the brake issue for Danica. It's up to Miss Thang to manage her equipment to be there at the end. She has always been less-than-stellar on road and street courses...

I really hate to see Carpentier go out this way! I'm willing to bet that he's back in some way...
