Nationwide at Vegas

I thought it was a pretty entertaining race with good side-by-side racing. And Sam put on an incredible performance. He's already building up a good points cushion.

Actually it was the last Phoenix race in 2011. Believe it or not he went winless last year. Had many many chances, but like they said in today's telecast something always went wrong with the car or Sam just couldn't close it out. With Irwin coming on board I can't wait for the rest of the season. I think this year will be tougher than last to make a run for the championship, but after today I think Sam has a really great chance.

I didn't get to watch the race live today. However, I felt like it was one that I would truly enjoy so I stayed away from the internet until I got a chance to sit down and watch it. Man I was grinning ear to ear. Sam was awesome today, and I am so glad he got into victory lane. Hopefully more to come this year, a lot more.

This pic makes it seem like he was pointing up to the sky. However you are correct he did also point to the flag stand for the checkered. Maybe he did both? :idunno:

I still don't get Trevor Baine blaming his wreck with Larson as Larson's fault. Saying Larson wasn't drafting the right way. I watched the rest of the field all day long, and pinching a guy down in the corner was the way it was done. Trevor had the option of backing out of it, if his car wouldn't hold, Vickers did, Sadler did, pretty much the same situation, they were going for the lead. Bush and Hornish played that way all day. Haven't heard what Larson had to say about it.
 
trevor is shaping up to be Carl II. He makes a lot of mistakes, but it's never his fault. Larson gave Trevor more room than most, and once again, Trevor couldn't hold his line or back off to avoid wrecking the guy to his outside.

I thought that was stenhouse and larson.
 
That's what I saw too. Hope Jack was talking to him after the race, and chewing on him for that crap, but probably not, he finished well. I still don't think we have seen the last of Larson, he got screwed in that deal. He has to learn who are the ones to watch when you are racing close, Baine ran out of talent.

not really. A lot of drivers tend to see their part in these things. A driver who rarely says he had a hand in these incidents are FoS.
 
Shrub seemed to be implying that the 12 had an unfair advantage when he got left behind on the late long green run. I don't see anything on Jayski, has anyone here seen anything about it? If not, better watch out for Penske on the 1.5 milers.

Huh..he said he was losing a tenth to a tenth and a half a lap..said his car didn't have the speed..They need to put their funny valve springs back in...kaBOOM

Will Danica finish in the top 20 today with top 10 equipment?

My mistake , I thought you were just saying that to make Danica look bad if she didn't finish top 20.That would have been really negative .
