Nationwide Cup-Heavy at New Hampshire

Well hey at least we don't got to listen to when will he get his 100th win anymore :rolleyes: I'm so annoyed by this honestly I mean 49 of them 100 wins are in the Nationwide race I mean come on now really that's stupid. Well Mark lets get you 4 more wins and see if they mention him having 100 wins.

He's to old for NASCAR to helping him like that.They only like the young ones now.

Its what I find stupid these days but not really younger its just seems Kyle has his own standers and stuff. Heck Jeff Gordon got 89 Nascar wins but they never mention it like that do they? I mean I take nothing away from Kyle's talent but this isn't no where near as great as 100+ wins because its spread out from in three different series in Nascar. Kyle I'l admit a very talented driver and one of the best out there today but making this the same as like David Pearson is BS

78 wins in minor leagues is impressive.

If he focused on Sprint Cup as much as he focuses on Nationwide and Trucks, he'd have 30 wins and two championships by now.
 
Some of you guys put way to much effort in to trying to discredit the talent of Kyle Busch. And until you prove that you can do better then him, you are making yourself look pretty small. When you get older and grow up, you will understand that if you can't drive the truck, then you shouldn't start the engine.:)
 
I'm 64, how much frikken older do you expect me to get? He's still a punk.
 
Is there anyone here who honestly thought that Kyle wouldn't get to 100 wins across the three series?!? And I assume that everyone also thought that their would not be a celebration of that?! Yeah...OK!

Actually you were not one of the brat packs that I was talking about. I usually agree with a lot of your posts. But thanks, Now you have made me feel young again. And yes he is a punk, but he is a very talented punk.:)

Hey I admitted he got talent lol I just don't see how they can compare this to David's 105 wins.

Here's a thought...Maybe Kyle Busch is doing what HE wants to do. Maybe what he wants to do doesn't include checking with a bunch of people to see whether they approve of what HE wants to do. I'm sure if any of the whiney Kyle bashers on this forum had the opportunity to drive in as many NASCAR races as Kyle does, or had a tenth of Kyle's ability to pilot a racecar, I'm sure you would be doing exactly what Kyle Busch is doing, which is what HE wants to do.
Fortunately for us, there is not a forum of nobodies out there bashing us for the choices that each of us make, but then again, if there were such a forum; would it matter?
 
I don't blame Kyle for racing often as possible. He has an old school racer's racer mentality and obviously loves racing, and he has bettered the sport imo. He certainly has driven more interest, whether it be manifested in love or hate.


He was also classy enough to help Sam Ard out $, I am fuzzy on those details, but I could google them if needed.

No, I don't think his 100 is as impressive as Pearson's 105, but the Silver Fox's numbers represent a whole career. In contrast Kyle is still young, the book is yet to be completed.


But trying to contextualize the two is pretty silly in itself, it should be self evident and only needing an asterisks for novice fans.


So congrats to Kyle, 100 Nascar wins shouldn't be a problem to accept.


BTW, I am an old Bowtie, Earnhardt Sr, Richard Childress , and a current Harvick fan.


As for Kevin and Kyle, their big two egos, and both capable of being silly. Just laugh it off and enjoy the show of personalities, and hope for fights and some more fun hate. It's just racing, have a good time, a yee-haw and let'er go, there's always next week.
 
I haven't heard Kyle compare his wins to anybody. The way I look at it, if it's something you love to do, then do it as often as you can while you can.

Not knocking as I've said in this thread just the media is making too big a deal out of his 100 NASCAR wins. If he gets 100 Cup wins way to go I'll say thats a big feat. I don't care who it would be hell I'm a Mark Martin fan if he gets 4 more Nascar wins I won't think that is impressive with him having 100 NASCAR wins. Its nothing to do with it being Kyle its the fact the media makes it seem like its very impressive feat. Its across all three series yeah its not easy to do but its a lot easier then doing it in just one series all together. That's my point as I've said its not easy to do and I know I couldn't do it and Kyle is very talented at that. Its the media I'm really bashing here not Kyle.
 
The stat that stood out to me was that KyBu won his 49th NNS win at start 217. Mark Martin won his at start 232. And we all know their difference in age. Interesting.

I'm just going off memory here from the race with those stats. I just thought Kyle would've reached 49 wins way sooner than Mark did.

Mark didn't race just about every race, if memory serves he ran just the companion races.

The punk will never be the class act Mark is.
 
BTW Buck, I'm seasoned not old.

As the great Groucho said "you're only as old as the women you feel". My wife is 8 years younger than me. And I feel young on a regular basis.:growl::D
