Nationwide - New England 200

, where she qualifes poor and runs at the back of the field, while more talented drivers who actually have some amount of upside struggle to find partially sponsored or start and park teams to drive for.
Jesus Christ...She's only been in 3 races:rolleyes:

And you know the one constant? She didnt do good.

If she had been a standout in the IRL series than, ya, maybe. But she wasnt. She is a mediocre/average driver in IRL.

Open wheel drivers dont belong in Nascar. Look at Sam Hornish and what happend to Dario. Tony and Juan are acceptions but I think its time Nascar owners stop trying to get IRL drivers into Nascar.

It's no longer a meaning of getting the good driver. It's who is marketable and can bring in the most money. Danica's presence in NASCAR and still to some extent in the IRL brings in big bucks before she sets foot inside the ****pit. NASCAR wants so hard to have a competing female in the top series and they believe that Danica is the one who can do it and do it well. So far, it's been a bust. But I do realize that a driver needs that seat time to learn the ins and outs of the sport. She needs to choose one series or the other and concentrate completely on that one series.

Yes they need a female but its not Danica. She was born to drive open wheel cars. She is marketable but the more 30th place finishes she has hurts her marketabliity. Look at Nascar ratings the last few years they have taken a nose dive. Economy plays a factor but another major factor is the chosen marketable driver was Dale Earnhardt Jr. When everyone heard he was going to Hendrick ratings sorred. Now as the time goes by Jr has been an embarrasement when you think about it. And look at the tole it has taken on the ratings. If Danica continues to finish mid pack or back of the pack she will end up putting the sport in the same position.

I was there and the scanner banter between the Only Female Race Car Driver In The World and Joonyer was painful at best. You couldn't understand him, and she had no clue. Before the 1st lap he was holding her hand via radio, tellimg her"turn on them 2 big red switches","adjust your rear brake bias" blah blah...
Did ESPN show what happened on pit row with Morgan Sheppard and the Only Female Race Car Driver In The World? I saw it as ''Welcome Rookie" for the lap 6 incident.6 laps,Iwas sure she would have made it an even dozen.
At driver intro's she was booed just as equally as Sir Kyle. But when she hit the wall, the crowd erupted into a cheer.
Just telling you like it was live from NHMS.
Have a nice rain delay today:)

Ladies and gents, we have a winner.

I'm sure most of us have a driver at our local track who could do much better than Danica given the chance but can't bring in the sponsorship $$$$ Danica does.

Sounds like Joey screwed himself.
yes, error in judgement on restart. he thought he could just floor it and his tires would stick...they didn't. <g> good recovery though by finishing fourth. probably would have been a gibbs 1-2 finish if he hadn't of spun the tires. kyle would have still won. <g>

Yeah...and that Tony Steward idiot. He sucks. :sarcasm:

And we are tired of the crappy 24 hrs of the #48....So stuff it

Oh yeah hes only won four straight championships, she has one career victory, so you shut your mouth, its not like I heard yesterday, Danica finishes 30th and oh by the way Kyle Busch won the race just has a side note , and I love her "does he get penalized for ME running into him" what a ditz comment LMFAO

This sounds real familiar. On one of my trips to Chicagoland (2008?) for the Peak 300 she spun out at the entry to pit lane. I had a scanner as well and the screaming and crying from her was amazing. If I were crew chief I think I would have just turned the radio off. I could not understand what she was saying between sobs. The crew chief said roughly 4 or 5 times something like, "DANICA LISTEN TO ME. TELEMETRY SHOWS YOUR CAR IS IN SECOND GEAR YOU HAVE TO BE IN FIRST TO RESTART IT." I laughed my a$$ off.

Now, given all the criticism she has gotten in this thread you have to admit this moment was utterly epic. Anyone who takes shots at Milka like that get's a giant gold star in my book.

I can't stand Danica and it has nothing to do with her being a woman. It's about her attiude. She thinks she is a hell of a lot better than she is. I hope she finishes 30th or worse every single race.

I love it when I screw something up and then people get their panties all in a wad.

My problem with Danica is that NOTHING is ever her fault. Like when she crashed at Cali I believe it was. She ran right into the back of someone and blamed him for it.
