Danica knows this track well, so it's her best chance to qualify well and get away from the rif-raf. If she does that, she has a god chance at a top 10 or better.

Yep, the mile and a halfs are her specialty. She was like 14th and 17th quickest in practice yesterday.

I know we all have drivers we love and drivers we hate but lets hope for a safe race today and Sunday. After the Indy car accident last year at Vegas it still feels a little creepy watching cars go through that corner. Similar to how we still think of Earnhardt when they go through turn 4 at Daytona.

That's the one reason to like the CoT.

Mite be a dumb question to some here....but who is this Benny Gordon ?

Thanks StewartFan, I never heard of him until the start of this season.

Danica qualified 12th. I was hoping for a top 10 but I will take it.

Just over 20 minutes till green flag. I am so nervous. My heart cant take much more of this...lol

I thought Kyle was supposed to have the talent to drive the car out of a spin like that?????

It's early, but Brad has bad luck at Vegas. Wrecked out of the lead in closing laps by Mark Martin, who won. Leading by 2 seconds coming to the flag and a tire goes down, and Mark wins again.

Brian Scott with a hard crash. This should be his last year with Gibbs, that's if he even makes it through the season before they kick him out of the car.

He always seems to be out of control and slow to let off. It looked like he started sliding up into Bayne, but never let up to correct his line.

and it strikes it again

I don't understand them lifting the trunk and trying to fix the problem. Tires, gas and get back out. Squirting fuel probably flooded the car rather than help. With electric lift pumps in the tank, squirting fuel doesn't do a damn thing. It wont run until the fuel gets there, and that is no longer dependant on engine RPM's.
