Nationwide Race - Texas

Danica finished 8th. Very nice. The cup team that grabs up Stenhouse will win a ton of races. That guy is always fast and has a great racing attitude.

Didn't see it but 8th is pretty respectable. I think Stenhouse is a good driver and agree, whoever gets him will win some races. His attitude seems to be a perfect mix of aggression and patience.

She was up on the week the last 50 laps. She went a lap down after a bad green flag pit stop then got pissed and started getting after it. She matched lap times with Menard and Stenhouse for 15 laps before getting the lucky dog. The last restart she went from 14th to 8th in like 4 laps.

Wow, that sounds impressive. Maybe she's getting over being overly safe.

Don't forget to add she had new tires with that run

I wish they did Race Buddy for Cup. Riding along with Danica is interesting. She learns quite a bit on each run and runs realty fast laps from time to time. But she just gets so cautious and it costs her time. She still doesn't quite trust her car enough to get aggressive.

I did that too, it was quite an experience . Especially the last run. I think ,during the race she did really well towards the end of the runs .Don't know if that was more the car set up or her tire management . Her spotter did a great job with her too .
 
Maybe getting lapped and having that bad stop was what she needed. She got pissed after that and drove the best we've ever seen her even before the new tires.

I respect Danica cause she doesn't want to be just a female racecar driver, she wants to compete and win. She's not happy with just being out there.
