Pastrana is hellbent on knocking a fence down. Can he do it here?

You have an interesting comparison to Danica right there . She doesn't want to knock the fence down . She wants to finish races , get seat time and experience . Love Travis , hope he does well , but it seems that overdriving the car may not get him where he wants to go.

I'm hopeful for Indy this year. Tire strategy played a role in positions 2 - 15. Gas won it, but those like Jeff Gordon that took 4 on the 2nd to last stop took 2 at the end had an advantage. It was almost exciting as Jeff on 4 newer tires was catching Menard on 4 older tires. If he had another 8 laps, we would have seen quite a battle.

The most interesting thing and best race at Indy next weekend is going to be the Rolex Sports Cars series.

Danica was 2nd fastest in her final practice run. It looks like she is going to have a fast car come tomorrow.

You gotta feel that win coming. I liked the agression she showed the past 2 races. With just 1 cup guy running, this could be the week.

Chicagoland is a nice place to see a race. Great viewing angles even from the lower rows.

Since we don’t have a truck race thread, I just wanted to say the Cialis commercial they have is a good one; it actually has females in the commercial. The man who is with the woman with the strawberry blondish hair shouldn’t need the product. If she can’t start a fire the wood just won’t burn.

Well said Greg! Cheers:D

I would have preferred this race to run Sat night like it was.

But I get why it's done on Sunday, now. Gives these NNS drivers more time to shine.

Let's do this.

I still say nascar should run a wet tire after blowing the loose water off of a track and let the cars do the rest instead of wasting 2 hours while the next storm arrives. But I'm dumb enough to think the jet dryers are a waste of time. Blowing hot, damp air and jet fuel residue on a track to dry it is insane. Suction and dehumidified air would dry a track in 1/4 the time. It's not like mounting a generator, condensor coils and a wet vac on a trailer is high tech.

jet fuel residue That stuff is greasey!!! Might as will smear lard onthe track.

What can we expect from a governing body that can't figure out how to vacuum up speedy dry? Or provide a under car bib to the tow trucks so they aren't spreading liquids all over the track when they tow in a wreck.
