They've raced at IRP since 1981, never at the big track.

Damn shame they won't be going back to IRP.

They never have. And they shouldn't be.

I read that it's the sponsors and team owners who wanted the race moved to Indianapolis Motor Speedway (or so the NASCAR media says). Yet, the "Indy 250" has no title, associate or presenting sponsor.

And when has anything NASCAR's ever done to please the owners and drivers ever resulted in a product worth watching?
