Nationwide Race Thread - Dover

I was visiting this thread to make a mention of how impressed I was with Ryan, Ty, Austin, Brian Scott and the rest of the young'uns. I was even going to compliment ESPN on a decent job of covering the race. But as per usual, I find myself responding to something ANDY said...

I like Rusty.

WOW! One of my observatios regarding the telecast was going to be about how desparately I have missed having Dale Jarrett in the booth! While Crusty is "better" since Little Steven ain't running, he's still worthless.

Logano drove like a dick and wrecked the lapped cars and he won. Truex drove a clean race and lost. Sucks that karma didn't bite Logano.

HUH???
Must be time for your meds. I'll get Nurse Ratched for ya!

I usually sympathize with Lagano and I think he has talant.

But really uncalled for in taking out the 24, the post race denial and not taking responsibility made him look even worse.

But as fun as it was to see Truax fighting for a first win, while stitched up, the two lapped cars DID NOT cost him the race. That's just sentimental thoughts that will not see the obvious.
Lagano's new tires was the deal breaker. Lagano would have just caught up with him a lap later without the lappers.

And Kurt Bisch just STFU and pick your nose quietly, he worked might hard to destroy any sympathies anyone had to offer. It's the world he designed for himself, so no boo-hoos are in order.

Did I hear right that he's wrecked 14 cars this season?

He's not out there ridin around for points . He's doing what he is supposed to do , charging hard on every lap. You don't like ?

I predict Justin Allgaier starts getting moved and turned more and more. I'm surprised it hasn't started already.

Brian Scott finished a race and I missed it! Can't believe it, I had to check the results twice. Seen the replay of Kurt and Justin.....Justin, like Kurt said, just race the car. Shame he's on probation it'd been more entertaining.

That didn't look nearly as sinister to me as it did to many of y'all. Did Joey touch him? Yes. Did he mean to spin him? No. All of y'all who cry and moan about how there is no more bump-and-run, no more use of the chrome horn, no more aggression on the part of drivers - are willing to condemn Joey for what appeared to me to be a rassin deal. It's a freaking SHORT TRACK!! Y'all hate the fact that there is no more bump and run at Bristol and you support changing what had become a fabulous RACE TRACK back into a WRECK TRACK.

Un be-fraking-believable. Oh, well...

I was really hoping that Ryan would win. He was a victim of circumstance. Joey was in position to pounce. Well done! I was happy to see Brian Scott finish so well. JGR 1,2,3? That's pretty awesome!

Kurt gave the Monster car a good run at the Monstor Mile for brother Pee Wee. What the hell was Algier so angry about? I guess he thinks that since everybody targets Kurt that he can get away with it too. Put on your big-boy panties, Justin!

As usual KuBu ran from a driver half his size. Welcome to the forum but this bunch is going to have a ball with posts like this.

When did Kurt run? I saw him walk around to the rear of Justin's car looking for evidence (or lack there-of). Then Kurt had a very "restrained" conversation with him. Justin several times put his hands on Kurt's chest while Kurt did not so much as flick a booger in Justin's direction!

You would have preferred that Kurt knock Poor Little Justin to the ground. That would bring about a suspension that would then justify your hatred for KuBu, right??

I think KuBu is an idiot but I hate no one. I would prefer that he had a backbone though. Also flick a booger is one of your more eloquent wittcisms.

OK, replace "hatred" with "dislike" if you prefer. You understand my meaning. There is no need to deflect it on semantics.

And regarding his lack of backbone...I have to know. What do you think would have been an appropriate response? I thought he handled himself perfectly, all thing considered...

Kurt can't do anything right in some folks eyes . But they forget that he is a past champion , with just about the same number of championship rings as Rusty Wallace or Bill Elliott .

I used to hate it when Rusty and Bill acted like spoiled little girls.

Dover N’wide race had a ratings decline for ESPN. Rating was a 1.2, down from 1.7 last year. Only 3rd Nwide race to decline this yr.
