Nationwide Series in alot of trouble

Will companies really risk puting sponsorship money on Nationwide cars or Cup cars for that matter even if the economy picks up? Nascar has been on the down turn for some time now, before the economy tanked. Not sure that would be a wise business decision.
i think we'll see nascar putting more cost cutting in all it's series so sponsorship doesn't have to cost companies so much money. it's ridiculous how much sponsorship now costs.

The COT was supposed to be a major cost cutting measure.Where teams didn't have to build as many cars. You see just as many of the COT's as the old ones in these shops. It seems they build a brand new COT car every other race.

Well for the next 3 races some other guys get a chance to shine since most of the Cup guys will be MIA.

Yep. Maybe there needs to be a rule that any given chassis has to run X amount of races per year. Would save more money that the Engine rule...

If money is the big issue, limit teams to a budget...ya' know, kind of like the rest of us have to do to get by on a daily basis.
