Is there any sound in the world as thrilling as hearing a Naturally aspitrated push rod engine at 7,000 to 9200 RPM installed and pulling a race car arouind a 2.5 mile race track? Tie that in with 40 to 42 of the same thing running together and you have a symphony of music like no other. Nothing can touch it, not anything, and it is and was USA made. :salute:

V10 ... turn it up

I agree, it is an awesome sound as is the Honda F1 engine they use to use, but I am talking about American Horsepower Naturally aspirated push rod engines, good ole United States redneck power.

You did say world. But regardless, the IMSA corvette (prior generation) was very nice.

@West , listen to these amazing engines as they come off turn 2, ain't nothin like that sound and I have heard it live many times. At Daytona when they go into turn 3 the roar rolls back across the track.

I loved the sound of 180° or crossover headers on a late model race car.

Le Mans has proven that the fascination for the good old American V8 is alive and well around the world.
