NBA 24-25

I was watching the Pacers last night. When I saw they were down 7 with less than a minute I told my wife they wouldn't be able to do this a second time.

Happy to be wrong!

I can't believe that FRAUD Darrel Morey FAILED his way into the 3rd overall pick. He made 2 of the worst signings in recent NBA history last offseason and was gifted a 3rd overall pick when it all (obviously) blew up in his face. Shocking that signing 2 injury prone guys to max contracts wouldn't work.

I'm a sixers fan and can't stand Morey so much I'm actually mad we made out so well in the lottery.

I feel like this is an @HoneyBadger type rant.

This is a lengthy but good write-up about my boy Russ and his various ups and downs with the Nuggets that I felt was worth my time. I regret not sticking around long enough to watch him when he was in his prime.

“Shai” is allowed to push off at will. OKC in general is just allowed to play bully ball and Indiana has to get assaulted to draw a foul.

Indiana fans have brought it every single home game this postseason. It’s deafening in Gainbridge.

I seriously think the last NBA playoff game I watched included Micheal Jordan, up until watching a few minutes of game seven tonight

I'm amazed with all the blue shirts in the stands, along with a few yellows.
Is there any fan there not wearing the colors.

A lot of fan bases don’t really embrace wearing the shirts the teams hand out in the playoffs but OKC and Indiana both have. Seems like the smaller market fan bases take a lot more pride in it + less likely for the diehard fan to get priced out. There’s notably a difference since Golden State moved from Oakland to San Francisco, a lot more tech bros showing up in business casual and refusing to participate in color coordination.

Indiana just didn’t have the ball handling and scoring capability after Haliburton went down. No one but McConnell stepped up.

Absolutely gutting way for this run to end with Hali going to be out with that Achilles for all of next season. Couldn’t have ended any worse for the Pacers.

Yeah, the Pacers are a fun team to watch. Sucks to see it end this way

Congrats to the OKC Thunder, they legit could go on a mini Chicago Bulls run over the next decade plus. 4-5 Championships, with WCF appearances each season. They're absolutely loaded with their lottery pick this year will be 100% and more draft picks on the way. Props to them, I live in the cesspool of NBA Hell with the Chicago Bulls.

I also see Kevin Durant got traded to the Rockets. Ho-Hum, another franchise he left in shambles and another one he will leave in shambles. Tony Kornhesier said it best this weekend, "hes a loser". He is, hes never left a situation better, contends up to a point with a team and then leaves when thing start to slip. Great basketball player, probably a future HOF'er but loser mentality.
