NCWTS Ford EcoBoost 200

Someone needs to put Wallace into a full time Nationwide ride like right now.

JR Motorsports, dump Regan Smith and put Wallace in the #7. A Wallace/Elliott twosome would destroy Nationwide.

Or they could just run a 3 car team. I don't think Toyota let's bubba leave though

I kind of wonder what Bubba's ceiling is with Toyota. I assume that they're waiting on Kenseth to retire for him to get to Cup but JGR seems unwilling to give him a full time Nationwide (or Xfinity) ride. At this point, he's ready for Nationwide. The obsession with running Cup guys is holding guys like Blaney and Wallace back. Blaney needs to be in the #22 full time next year and Bubba needs a full time JGR ride. The Nationwide Series should be Blaney, Wallace and Elliott tearing it up every week not Keselowski, Busch and friends running wild.

You want a quantifiable way that the Buschwhackers are screwing up young talent? Look at the plight of Blaney and Bubba.

Maybe France should sell out to Hendrick and that way every driver could drive for HMS. Gawd.

Wallace and Jones need to stay where they are and watch their teammate win the cup tomorrow.

As those knuckleheads where standing around that big screen watching their driver trying to adjust those Vice Grips, did it ever occur to them that maybe - just maybe - they could've pre-adjusted them for him?

Just got through watching the race.

If you did not like that one, well, there is no hope for ya!

Larson, Bush, Bubba last few laps, hard side by side clean, now dats how its done.

Good hard racing right there

It's not Hendrick's fault that he actually has a full time Nationwide operation that hires non-Cup drivers. Other owners should take note. Gibbs is literally the worst developmental owner in the sport and his incompetence almost wrecked Joey Logano's career.

I'd like to see Bubba and Erik stay with JGR/KBM, but it's a full house over there on the Cup side right now, and I don't see any the 4 Cup drivers they have going anywhere for awhile. I wouldn't blame Bubba or Erik for jumping ship if the right opportunity presented itself.

If I were Penske or Hendrick, I'd be throwing offers their way. Penske will likely add a third team for Ryan and I'm sure that a 4th team for Bubba or Jones wouldn't be that far off. Hendrick has enough connections with Cup teams (CGR, SHR) that he could also get them a Cup seat. Even if Hendrick can't get them a Cup seat, JR Motorsports could put them in a Nationwide car at least. Right now, it literally looks like Bubba and Jones have hit a brick wall. JGR doesn't seem likely to give them a Nationwide ride in the near future and their Cup prospects are dim.

They almost HAVE to jump ship at this point.

There's no reason Bubba shouldn't be in the #20 Gamestop car. He's perfect for that sponsor, young, aggressive driver, great personality and is great in interviews and he loves videogames. There is no reason that Kenseth should be in that car next season again, plus let's be realistic, the vast majority of fans going to nationwide races aren't buying a ticket to see Kenseth anyway.

To be fair he lucked out having NAPA come forward with full-time sponsorship, otherwise chase wouldn't have a full-time ride this year. And the 5 car has run kevin Harvick for most of the season

Jones is only 18 he can afford to wait a few years. Kenseth will retire eventually opening up a ride, and I expect either Hamlin/Busch to leave at some point. This is what happens when there's only a few competitive teams: huge logjam of talented drivers but not enough rides for them

Hamlin's deal runs out after 2015; I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave or sign a very short extension. SHR could be a place for him to go eventually depending on if he wins a title this year or next, among other things.

If JGR can't even find Xfinity sponsorship for Bubba something is seriously wrong. I hope Coca-Cola steps up.

Coca-Cola car would be sweet.

February of 2011 Rick Hendrick signed a multi year driver agreement with Chase Elliott. Rick had been working with NAPA all last year to work out a full time deal for this year. What took so long was deciding whether to put him in Trucks, which would of been easier for him to finish school, or NNS for this year and they decided that it was time for him to go to NNS. And apparently they made the right choice. Rick and Bill have Chases future pretty much mapped out. With Chase's driving skill's and personality It's doubtful that he'll ever have sponsor problems.

Just watched this race and hol-eeeee ****! What a barnburner.

Proud of Bubba, Larson, and Blaney, I thought KyBu was gonna get fed up with that 29 and wreck him. Epic racing in the last 20 laps.

Cool KBM burnout too.

Darrell Wallace Jr's improvement has been very impressive. He raced somewhat timidly last year IMO. The past few months, he has been driving like he is THE guy.

So when bill Elliott said that last week he was lying? Good to know

The difference is that it appeared that Dale Jr. WANTED to put Chase in a Nationwide car. Notice how Hendrick's guys rarely run Nationwide race. JGR and Penske can't keep their guys out of Nationwide and that (as we can see) hurts their whole program.

I haven't seen where Bill said that or in what context he said it but I'm sure that he wasn't lying. His comments could have been taken out of context. Rick said recently that "we finished putting that deal together just in time". Read it like you want to and I'll read it like I want to. I was quoting from several sources.

I think it is as simple as --- they had a contract, but didn't have a car or a sponsor. After NAPA left MWR, that got the ball rolling for JRM, Elliott, and NAPA.

In his post-race interview, Ryan Blaney seemed to allude to driving full-time in the Xfinity Series next year. "I'm really excited for the future and maybe I'll be in this thing a few times next year."

Per Pockrass, Blaney will be splitting the Busch Series seat with Kez and Logano again.
