New Chevy SS to be unveiled Nov. 29

Dealer I bought my truck from called a couple of weeks ago telling me about their end of year, big expansion sale. I don't want/need a new truck but we talked about a car for my wife.
According to them the SS will be in short supply the first year, a $5,000 deposit today is no guarantee you'll get one. Looks like it's gonna be a long wait before they become readily available.

Scion does that with their special edition tCs. It works out well by creating false demand.

Wasnt there rumblings just a month or two ago that GM would possibly have to declare bankruptcy again?

Hopefully for our current President, that won't happen until AFTER the election...

It's a long boat ride from Sydney Harbor, Mate!

And on top of that Robby, the General is sacking workers here in Adelaide where they will be built since a major component manufacturer went into receivership only this week.

Funny thing is people can't have much of an opinion on the car because the street version has yet to be revealed. But that's coming Feb. 21 in Daytona.

Looks a lot like the Malibu.

Cup car looks great. NASCAR and the manufacturers did a nice job of bringing back some brand identity.

Here's hoping that no one brand enjoys an aero advantage at Daytona . This forum would be full of 'Nascar showed favoritism' crap.
