New Hampshire Pre-Race Thread

Big shame that this race is on a Monday for a track that's already had some of the biggest attendance declines in the past 15 years. While other tracks started seeing attendance fall in the mid-00s, NHMS managed to be sold out every year til 2009 or 2010... with what was then a very respectable 90k or so capacity. Ticket prices are next to nothing compared to then and they still can't get 50k or so. The track has a smaller capacity today than when it opened in 1989 with all the seat removals.

Tickets I paid $100 for in 2010 are now going for $60, tickets I paid for that were $50 in 2015ish are now seats that are gone.

I'm not sure why being delayed a day would hurt. Advanced sales are advanced sales; those tickets were already purchased. It's not like there were going to be any walk-up tickets sold yesterday or probably even last week.

Everybody and their little dog too knew it was going to rain. That had to effect ticket sales.

Yes, especially now-a-days where you can/should buy tickets on Stubhub raceweek for 50-70% face value. That's what I did at my last Vegas races. Truck and Xfinity tickets were literally $5 or $6 a piece, Cup was maybe $40 for a spot that was going for $100.

Really surprised how far off Dennis is this weekend seeing the caliber of car that TRD brought this weekend.

I wonder why Crayon didnt do a better job of telling who they are. They should have included something like "Crayon Cyber Security or IT solutions" instead of just the Company name. Just a thought

I'm sure that I'm not alone in that when I first saw the name of the race, these things came to mind.

I thought taking Bubba today was a good pick and he had a pretty good stage 1, but anytime this guy has some adversity he folds like a cheap tent. I dont get it, he obviously had speed ( I was watching his lap times) but he just is so inconsistent
