Anyone else listening to the new season?

I think the loss of TJ, Brett and Casey really hurt this podcast. Tommy is a good addition, but IMO he doesn't bring enough to replace both TJ and Brett. Seems like this show is missing another personality, but I can't come up with who I think would be a good fit.

Besides a foul mouth and calling drivers names, I haven't heard much that Carson is bringing to the show.

However I do like that they have seem to be planning on having a driver guest every week. This seems to be more common across all podcasts and I think is related to the Driver Ambassador Program points.
 
I don't miss Brett, but TJ could have good stuff. I think Tommy has room to grow, Carson seems to take a more active role than Casey did.
 
Brett leaving is a positive. I don't care about the opinion of somebody who frequently says he didn't even watch the race. I will say that Brett brought some good information about the sponsorship and behind the scenes stuff.

Tommys been refreshing with a good mix of information and comedy.

TJ is perfect in his new role on Dales podcast. He was often so uncomfortable on DBC and rarely gave a strong opinion because he didn't want to get in trouble. Now on Dales podcast he has the "protection" of being next to Dale.

Carson and Casey aren't even needed. Freddy is perfectly capable of hosting the podcast himself.

I agree that having a driver on each week is pretty awesome. Hopefully they can get some big name drivers. But its also nice to give the smaller name guys some shine.
 
I miss Brett because he was unfiltered and he gave a lot of perspective from the sponsorship and marketing side. Tommy has been a great addition, giving both a crew chief and a car owner's perspective. Casey was completely useless. I don't know how smart she actually is, but she projected stupid on a regular basis. Karsyn is a HUGE upgrade in my opinion., I also would have voted for Hannah Newhouse, who did a great job as a fill in host a few times. I liked TJ, but his constant fumbling for words got on my nerves. I DO think the show needs another spotter in the mix though. Spotters are what made this show different from the others, and one is not enough.
 
It shouldn't be called Door Bumper Clear anymore if Freddy is the only spotter. However, I heard TJ was going to make semi-frequent appearances -- supposedly when they don't have another guest.

P.S. Bring Casey back!

Pretty much my take on DBC. While I miss Brett's inside info on sponsorship & activation, he sometimes would hijack conversations with his booming voice and "I know better than y'all" attitude (which was damn entertaining most of the time). Agree on Karsyn, she's no door mat for the boys. And I agree, another spotter is needed.
