new posters?

Yeah, and I do get that, so its not the worst thing in the world, but it still really screwed Regan in the end. Doesnt help matters that I dont like Kurt either I suppose

It did, but like I said, it is still a business. I hope Regan finds some success in the 51. He seems like a good guy.

Yeah he does. Hes my new new NW favorite right now. I like to see Elliott do well too

Truth is, Regan wasn't exactly a model employee. Aside from being generally difficult to work with (a prick), he disobeyed direct orders from the team owner several times on the track. It got to the point where it was decided that Regan was out of the 78 whether Kurt was hired or not. There was a vision for what had to be done to take Furniture Row Racing to a higher level, and Regan's actions showed he didn't seem to be on board.

As far as "he committed to moving all the way out to Colorado just so he could be closer and more beneficial to the team" ....that's not exactly the case. The move was as much lifestyle as anything else. He loves skiing, snowboarding, mountains, outdoors etc. He still spends most of his time in Colorado...he has no intentions of selling and moving back (nor did he sell his place in NC when he bought in CO).

I'm not trying to change your opinion, or win you over as a fan. Honest. Just letting you know the driver switch wasn't nearly as cold-blooded and opportunistic as it might seem on the surface. I get how it appears: "super nice young kid Regan Smith" was replaced with "big bad jerkoff Kurt Busch." And credit goes to Regan for protecting his public image. And fault goes to Kurt for destroying his. But the truth is, even if you disregarded driving talents, Kurt is also a much better fit for Furniture Row Racing off the track than Regan was. In many, many ways.

Well thanks to our great mods we lost a new poster last night. I convinced a buddy of mine to sign up last night. He is a big Hamlin fan. So I always talk about the discussions here. So he decided to sign up and I guess his account was deleted last night. I tried to get him to sign up again, but he doesn't want to.

It was mine last night. You know the best ideas during a night of drinking. I will see if he will sign up again from his house. Thanks.

I got a new poster a couple weeks ago.. It's the cup trophy with all the past champions listed through 2011. It's nice I've got in up on the wall in my man cave. :nyanya:

My brother who was VP of the computer research and development program for the AT&T repeater complexes said its easy to get around ISPs and told me how, so if I want I could now have 4 personas on here but I think its dumb.

They're masking their IP's but not even trying to be discrete about usernames. I guess it's to rub in it they they can't be caught, but you're right - it's dumb.

If that's the only way their driver can appear to have fans is to invent them, so be it.

Maybe we'll rub it in when TRL rubs them out :D

It's too bad when a person has to use the ignore feature on a public forum but I had to update my criteria for utilizing it. Any one or combination of four words is automatic ignore ;)

I wish I had time for multipersonalities and masking ips. I would take that time and work on my house.

Nascar.com is starting their forum back up soon so maybe, hopefully, some of the multiples and the assinine ones of the newbies will disappear. TRL has toned some of them down which she did a good job of but there are a few that stay right on the edge. I have 6 members blocked and thats too many missed threads and posts but its better than putting up with the aggravation when its supposed to be enjoyable.

PS: wish we could block some of these disgusting avatars without blocking the posters.

Am I one of the 6? :D

Did anyone else (other than me) find this forum via the Tapatalk app?

That's how I found it. Been to the actual website maybe 10 times and that's it.
