Newman is returning

Wow. With how events unfolded following his crash, he may not even be hurt too much in the standings and still have a shot at the playoffs - presuming the season schedule presses on as it should somehow.
 
Now that he is well I am curious to what it was that injured him and the damage done to the car. The roll cage looked totally compromised- what failed and how can we make it better? What happened to his helmet, HANS- all that?

I still can't believe that he's racing two months later. I mean they brought out the ****** screen's and cleared the pits/garage area. "Alive" is generally the best outcome you can expect when that happens...racing two months later is miraculous.

We will probably never know the reason this happened. It just doesn't make sense they would go to this extreme and him being fine. Was he unconscious, have a pulse while in car?
